9 末松大貴新しい日本語学習者の実態と学習コミュニティに対する評価図 5 本調査の回答者の地域別の割合内の数字は a. 1 年ごと回答者数 n =120 地域の区分は国際交流基金の調査を参考にして筆者と管理人の Y 氏で決定した出典国際交流基金 2013 海外の日本語教育の現状 2012 年度日本語教育機関調査よりくろしお出版国際交流基金 2017 海外の日本語教育の現状 2015 年度日本語教育機関調査よりくろしお出版境で日本語を学習しているかを答えてもらった結果が図 6 である質問 3 は複数選択の形式にしたが注目すべきことは自分ひとりで独学で Only by b. 2 年ごと図 4 日本語学習年数別の回答者の割合は回答者数 n =120 yourself を選んだ学習者が最も多かったことそ内の数字して自分ひとりで独学で Only by yourself を選んだ 67 人の回答を見てみると 55 人が自分ひ日本語コミュニティ内には様々な学習年数の学習者とりで独学で Only by yourself のみを選んでいが存在していると思われるなお本稿ではこれ以たことであるつまり 1 でも紹介した高橋降学習年数と他の質問項目の結果の関連を見る場合 2015 の新しい日本語学習者が日本語コミュは図 4 b で示した 0 2 年 2 4 年 4 年以ニティ内には多数存在していることが分かるまた上という枠組みを用いることとする何らかの教育機関に所属していると回答している学また図 5 より日本語コミュニティには世界の習者も多数いたことから現在学んでいる教室や教様々な地域から学習者が参加していることが分かる育機関以外の場でも日本語学習や学んだ日本語の使国際交流基金 2017 p. 10 では教育機関に所用の場を求めている学習者が存在しているというこ属する学習者の 78.2 が東アジアや東南アジアに集とが言えるだろう中していると報告されているが日本語コミュニ新しい日本語学習者が日本語コティではそれらの地域以外の出身の参加者の割合もミュニティに参加した背景高いこのことから東アジアや東南アジア以外の次に日本語コミュニティに参加している学習者地域では教室や教育機関以外で自律的に学ぶ日本がどのような目的をもちそしてどのような経緯で語学習者がまだまだ存在していることを示している参加したかを見ていくのではないだろうか次にコミュニティの参加者が普段どのような環 180

22 Studies of Language and Cultural Education 15 (2017) ISSN Forum An examination of a new type of Japanese language learners and their assessment of learning community: The case of the facebook group The Nihongo Learning Community SUEMATSU, Daiki * Graduate School of Humanities, Nagoya University, Aichi, Japan Abstract Recently, in the area of Japanese language education, it is said that there is a need for research focusing on learners who learn outside the classroom and educational institutions, as Yoko Tateoka mention in her book Nihongokyouiku no tameno Shitsuteki Kenkyu Nyumon: Gakusyu, Kyoushi, Kyoushitsu wo ikani Egakuka. However, there is an insufficient amount of research on this subject. Therefore, in this paper, we will research focusing on new Japanese learners who use and learn Japanese through social networking communities, proposed by Atushi Takahashi since To begin, I examined the background of the learners and how they evaluate the merits and demerits of their community, focusing on one community on Facebook The Nihongo Learning Community. As a result, it was found that many learners held a positive view of their communities. One of the reasons for this was due to the specific benefits of having an online community. On the other hand, it was also found that there were some areas learners desired to see changed or focused upon in their current communities. Based on these, this paper will show significance for research about new Japanese learners.
