2 氏名 ( 本籍 ) 学位の種類学位記番号学位授与の日付学位授与の要件学位論文題目 やま じ <3] 山路昭 ( 薬学博士第 2 8 号 昭和 48 年 5 月 31 日 薬学研究科薬品化学専攻 学位規則第 5 条第 1 項該当 熱分解ガスクロマトグラフィーによる天然樹脂の分析に関する 研究 論文審査委員 ( 主査 ) j 竜 j 甫潔 ( 副査 ) 析井雅一郎鎌田絞 吉岡一郎 論文内容の要 目 諸論 天然樹脂の分析法としては従来 融解温度 ( 軟化点 ) 溶解性 酸価 ケン化価 比重 屈折率など の測定法 各種定性確認法が知られている また最近ではペーパークロマトグラフィー 薄層クロマ トグラフィ一 uv スペクトル IR スペクトルによる特定樹脂の定性法が報告されているが すべ ての樹脂に適用される系統的な分析法は未だ確立されていない そこで著者は天然樹脂の新しい分析法を試み 熱分解ガスクロマトグラフィー (PGC) による天然 樹脂の定性分析法を検討した 本論. パイログラム ( 熱分解温度 : ) による天然樹脂の分類 PGC による天然樹脂の分析条件をきめるため 種々の熱分解温度 (3000 ~ ) により得られ た樹脂の pyrolysis ( パイログラム ) を検討し 熱分解温度を 800 および 450 とするこ条件を設定した 各樹脂を 800 でキャリヤーガス気流中 熱分解させ 生成物をガスクロマトグラフ (GC) のカラム で分離し そのパイログラムを得た パイログラムの各ピークはその保持時間並びに分取成分の IR マススペクトルにより同定した その結果 800 の PGC の場合 すべての樹脂から benzene, toluene xylene s tyrene などの芳香族化合物および低沸点ガス (CO, CO 2, CH 4, C 2 H 6, が生成されることを見出した また benzene, toluene の生成と熱分解温度との関係を検討し 熱分解温度 650 以上において それらの生成量が顕著に増加することを知った 樹脂の高温熱分解で生成する free radical の再結合反応によって benzene, toluene などが二次的に生成するものと考えられる
3 ムつ白 天然樹脂 (35 種 ) を 800 で PGC にかけ 生じた benzene, toluene, p-xylene, tyrene の 生成量を比較し 各樹脂の分類を試みた (Table Benzoin からは benzene の生成が特に 多く これは遊離またはエステルの型で S Benzoin 中に存在する benzoic acid の脱炭酸反応 によるものである Sumatra Benzoin, torax, Balsam では cinnamic の熱分解に よる s tyrene の量が多く 従って s tyrene の生成量を比較すれば他の樹脂と識別できる Amber, Dammar, Copal の様な化石または半化石樹脂から benzene, toluene, xylene の生成が多い そ れに比べてロジン類では芳香族化合物の生成量が少く また Galbanum, Olibanum, Myrrh の様な ゴム樹脂類ではロジンと同じく中程度の生成量を示す Guaiacum, Dragon's-Blood の様な着色樹脂 および多糖質を主成分とする植物ゴム (Gum Arabic, Tragacanth) では芳香族化合物の生成 量は非常に低い 以上の如く 天然樹脂の 800 のパイログラムより芳香族化合物の生成を確認し それらの生成量に よって 樹脂の大まかな分類が可能である 2. パイログラム ( 熱分解温度 : ) による天然樹脂の同定 各樹脂の同定に役立つ特徴的なパイログラムを得ることを期待して より低温の熱分解温度 (450 0 における PGC をさらに検討した その結果 個々の樹脂に独特なパイログラムを得ることができ n の如き特徴的なピークを同定できた この様に 450 の PGC の場合 各樹脂の特徴を示すパイログラムが得られるので これを用いて天 然樹脂を同定できることが明らかとなった なわ 口三ン類の PGC から acetone の生成を認めるが その樹脂酸組成と acetone 生成量の関 係を比較検討した結果, 天然ロジン類と加工ロジン類を acetone 生成量により識別できることを知 った 3. ゴム樹脂の分析法 Olibanum, Myrrh などのゴム樹脂は天然樹脂のカテゴリーに属し ゴム質すなわち多糖質含量が 高い 著者はこの点に着目し, ゴム樹脂の分析法を検討した ゴム樹脂中の多糖質の分析には 従来 加水分解後 ペーパークロマトグラフィ一 あるいはカラムクロマトグラフィーにより単離し その構成糖および糖比が報告されている 著者はゴム樹脂構成糖の GC による分析法を検討し ゴム樹脂を加水分解後 NaBH4 還元し トリメチルシリル (TMS) 化することにより その構成単糖を GC で定性 定量できることを明らかにした この場合 GC の 内部標準物質として 1. 5-anhydro-D-glucitol が最適であることを見出した つぎにゴム樹脂の PGC より ゴム質に基因する熱分解生成物を追究した ゴム樹脂並びに植物ゴ ム (Gum Arabic, Tragacanth) のパイログラムより acetaldehyde, furfural, fural をゴム質 ( 多糖質 ) の熱分解生成物として確認できた これらの成分は他の樹脂からは認めら れず ゴム樹脂並びに植物ゴムの特徴を示すパイログラムが得られた 結論 ) 天然樹脂の 800 の PGC の場合 芳香族化合物および低沸点ガスの生成が確認され それら生成 量を比較基準として樹脂の分類が可能で ある その際生成する benzene, toluene などは
