(Transmitter) Extend the antenna. (Transmitter) Connect the charged Ni-Cd battery to the receiver. Extend the antenna. (Receiver) Center the trims. Switch on. (Transmitter) Switch on. 4 BEFORE YOU BEGIN Read through the manual before you begin, so you will have an overall idea of what to do. 3 Check all parts. Before using them, check the screws on the true-to-scale diagrams on the left side in each assembly step. Some screws are extras. 31 OPERATING YOUR MODEL SAFELY In order to avoid accidents and personal injury, be sure to observe the following: Since exhausts and fuel vapors are noxious to health, use fuel only outdoors! Keep hands and objects away from rotating engine parts to avoid personal injury. Because after running the engine, the engine and the muffler are extremely hot, beware of getting burned!
