3 Tumi s Mobile Power Pack is a smart, convenient tool for reliable, hassle-free power charging for cell phones and other USB appliances. Designed specifically for the modern traveler to work almost anywhere in the world, this kit includes: 1 Tumi Mobile Power Pack 2 USB Retractable Connector Cable 3 AC Wall Adaptor 4 Cell Phone Power Tip Set (9 tips) in a zip mesh tip case 5 Tip Pack 1

4 Charging the Tumi Mobile Power Pack Plug the AC Wall Adaptor (3) into the wall plug and attach to socket (A) as illustrated. There are five front panel lights (D) that turn red when the unit is being charged. Each light indicates 20% power (i.e., four lights indicate an 80% charge). 2

5 When the unit is fully charged, all five panel lights (D) will flash simultaneously and the unit can be unplugged. The unit typically charges from empty to full in less than 4 hours. Charging Cell Phones and USB Appliances Push the power button (E) to determine the amount of charge in your Tumi Mobile Power Pack. Connect either the included Tumi USB Retractable Connector Cable with Nokia Power Tip (2) or the original cable provided by your appliance manufacturer to socket (B). Extend the USB Retractable Cable Connector (2) and place the correct cell phone tip (4) on top of cable end and plug into your device. Press the power button (E) and the top light (C) will light red to indicate that the unit is charging your device. When the Tumi Mobile Power Pack has completed charging your device the top indicator light (C) turns to green. Most cell phones can be charged from empty to full in less than 2 hours. 3

6 USB Retractable Connector Cable with Nokia* Power Tip This retractable cable attaches to the Tumi Mobile Power Pack and comes with the standard Nokia power tip. All other power tips attach to this Nokia tip, making the cable compatible with many brands and models of phones and devices such as cameras and PDAs. To Extend: Pull both ends of the cable at the same time to reach one of the locking positions. To Retract: Pull both ends of the cable at the same time all the way out past 4 the last click and the cable will automatically retract. Important Operating Notes: Pulling the cable from just one end will cause it to tangle in the center of the device. To untangle the cable, first pull from both ends until it is fully extended, then pull again to retract the cable. If pulled incorrectly, the spool may become off center, and the cable will not fully retract. To re-center you cable, fully extend the cable again. Then, gently tug on the spool moving it up or down to re-center. To retract, pull all the way past the last click, and the cable

7 should snap back to normal. It may be necessary to repeat this step until the desired result is achieved. CELL PHONE POWER TIP SET (4) In addition to the connector cable with the standard Nokia power tip, this kit comes with nine separate power tips that allow you to use the Tumi Power Pack with the most popular cell phones available today. (A separate list of compatible phones for the included tips appears in the enclosed pamphlet.) After identifying the correct tip for your phone, place it over the small tip attached to the cable and plug into your cell phone power port. The nine tips are stored in their own zip mesh carry case. Please note that additional tips may be custom ordered through Tumi Customer Service at TUMI (8864) within the U.S. DEVICES THAT CAN BE CHARGED: FLASHLIGHT The Tumi Mobile Power pack also features a convenient flashlight. 5

FIRST YEAR OF OWNERSHIP: TOTALLY WORRY FREE For the first twelve (12) months of

9 ownership, if any damage-including wear and tear happens to your Tumi product, Tumi will cover all repair expenses, including shipping costs to and from our repair facility. The only exceptions to this are purely cosmetic damage, such as scratched leather, and incidental or consequential damages, such as damage to, or loss of, the contents of a bag, loss of use, loss of time, or similar expenses. YEAR TWO: FULL COVERAGE Through your second year of ownership, Tumi will cover all of the repair costs for any problems that result from defective materials or workmanship or damage from wear and tear. The only exceptions to this are damage caused by obvious abuse of the product, purely cosmetic damage and incidental or consequential damages as described above. Your only responsibility is to ship your item to us for repair, or take it to a Tumi store or authorized Tumi dealer, who will be happy to process the repair for a nominal handling and shipping fee. Many repairs can actually be handled right in the store, but if your item does need to be sent to our facility, we will repair it quickly and ship it back at no 7

10 cost to you. In those rare cases mentioned above where our warranty does not apply, we will promptly provide you with an estimate of any repair costs that may be involved. A LIFETIME OF SERVICE We have never seen an accessories product problem due to a manufacturing defect show up after two years of use, but we do have many customers with older items that they would like to have refurbished. For these customers, we offer a lifetime of courteous, responsive service and the highest quality repairs and refurbishment done at the lowest 8 possible cost. 14 CHARGEMENT DU BLOC D ALIMENTATION MOBILE TUMI Branchez l adaptateur secteur mural (3) dans la prise de courant murale et raccordez-le à la prise (A) comme indiqué sur l illustration: Le panneau avant est doté de cinq témoins lumineux (D) qui deviennent rouges lorsque l unité est en charge. Chaque témoin lumineux correspond à 20% de charge, ainsi quatre témoins allumés indiquent 80% de charge. 12

En règle générale, une unité complètement déchargée met moins de quatre heures pour se recharger intégralement. CHARGEMENT DES TÉLÉPHONES PORTABLES ET DES APPAREILS USB Appuyez sur le bouton (E) pour voir le niveau de charge de votre bloc d alimentation mobile Tumi. Raccordez soit le câble de connexion USB rétractable Tumi à l embout de chargement Nokia (2), soit le câble original fourni par le fabricant de votre appareil à la prise (B). Étirez le câble de connexion USB rétractable (2) et fixez l embout pour téléphone portable approprié (4) à l extrémité du câble avant de le brancher dans votre appareil. CÂBLE DE CONNEXION USB RÉTRACTABLE ET EMBOUT DE CHARGEMENT NOKIA* Ce câble rétractable se raccorde au bloc d alimentation mobile Tumi et est fourni avec l embout de chargement standard Nokia. Tous les autres embouts de chargement se fixent sur l embout Nokia, le câble est donc compatible avec de nombreuses marques et de 14 nombreux modèles de téléphones, ainsi qu avec des appareils tels que les appareils photos et les PDA (assistants numériques personnels). Pour Étirer Le Câble: tirez simultanément sur les deux extrémités du câble jusqu à ce qu il se bloque dans une des positions. Pour Rétracter Le Câble: tirez simultanément sur les deux extrémités du câble, bien après avoir entendu le dernier «clic», et le câble se rétractera automatiquement.

17 Remarques Importantes Sur L utilisation: Si vous tirez sur une seule extrémité du câble, un nœud se formera au centre de l appareil. Pour démêler le câble, commencez par tirer sur les deux extrémités jusqu à ce qu il s étire au maximum, puis tirez de nouveau sur les deux extrémités pour rétracter le câble. Si vous ne tirez pas correctement, il est possible que la bobine se décentre. Le câble ne se rétracte alors plus complètement. Pour recentrer votre câble, étirez-le à nouveau complètement. Tirez ensuite à nouveau doucement sur la bobine, en la déplaçant vers le haut ou vers le bas, pour la recentrer. Pour le rétracter, étirer le câble au-delà du dernier «clic». Ildoit alors en principe se rétracter pour revenir à la normale. Vous aurez peut-être besoin de répéter cette étape jusqu à obtenir le résultat désiré. Jeu d embouts de chargement pour téléphones portables (4) En plus du câble de connexion et de l embout de chargement Nokia standard, ce kit est fourni avec neuf embouts de chargement individuels qui vous permettent d utiliser le bloc d alimentation Tumi avec les téléphones 15

Après avoir identifié l embout adapté à votre téléphone, fixez-le sur le petit embout à l extrémité du câble et branchez-le sur le port d alimentation de votre téléphone portable. Les neufs embouts se rangent dans leur propre housse en mailles avec fermeture éclair. 25 Das mobile Netzanschlussgerät von Tumi in einem Netzetui mit Reißverschluss ist ein intelligentes, praktisches Utensil 5 Stecker-Set zum zuverlässigen, problemlosen Aufladen von Handys und anderen USB-Geräten. Dieses speziell für die Anforderungen des modernen Reisenden konzipierte Set kann fast überall auf der Welt eingesetzt werden und umfasst folgende Komponenten: 1 Mobiles Netzanschlussgerät von Tumi 2 Aufrollbares USB-Anschlusskabel 3 Netzstrom-Wandadapter 4 Handy-Anschlussstecker-Satz (9 Stecker) 23

26 AUFLADEN DES MOBILEN NETZANSCHLUSSGERÄTS VON TUMI Den Netzstrom-Wandadapter (3) wie abgebildet an die Steckdose und an Buchse (A) anschließen: Auf der Frontplatte befinden sich fünf Leuchten (D), die rot aufleuchten, während das Gerät aufgeladen wird. Jede Leuchte steht für 20% Strom, d. h., vier Leuchten zeigen eine 24

27 Ladung von 80% an. Wenn das Gerät vollkommen aufgeladen ist, blinken die fünf Leuchten auf der Frontplatte (D) gleichzeitig auf, und das Gerät kann aus der Steckdose gezogen werden. Das Gerät lädt normalerweise in weniger als 4 Stunden vollkommen auf. AUFLADEN VON HANDYS UND USB-GERÄTEN Netzschalter (E) drücken, um den Ladungsstatus Ihres mobilen Netzanschlussgeräts von Tumi festzustellen. 28 26 Wenn das mobile Netzanschlussgerät von Tumi Ihr Gerät aufgeladen hat, leuchtet die obere Anzeigeleuchte (C) grün. Die meisten Handys können in weniger als 2 Stunden vollkommen aufgeladen werden. AUFROLLBARES USB- ANSCHLUSSKABEL MIT NOKIA*- ANSCHLUSSSTECKER Dieses aufrollbare Kabel lässt sich am mobilen Netzanschlussgerät von Tumi anschließen und wird mit einem standardmäßigen Nokia-Anschlussstecker geliefert. Alle anderen Anschlussstecker können an diesem Nokia-Stecker eingesteckt werden, wodurch das Kabel mit Handy und Geräten wie z. B. Kameras und PDAs unterschiedlichster Marken und Modelle kompatibel ist. Herausziehen: An beiden Enden des Kabels gleichzeitig ziehen, bis eine der Einrastpositionen erreicht ist. Aufrollen: Beide Enden des Kabels gleichzeitig bis zum letzten Klicken herausziehen. Das Kabel rollt sich dann automatisch auf.

29 Wichtige Bedienungshinweise: Wenn das Kabel nur an einem Ende angezogen wird, verfängt es sich in der Mitte des Geräts. Zum Entwirren des Kabels dieses zuerst an beiden Enden vollständig herausziehen und dann noch einmal anziehen, um das Kabel aufzurollen. Wenn das Kabel falsch herausgezogen wird, kann sich die Spule seitlich verschieben, und das Kabel wird nicht vollständig aufgerollt. Um das Kabel wieder zentriert auszurichten, dieses erneut vollständig herausziehen. Anschließend die Spule vorsichtig nach oben oder unten ziehen, bis sich diese wieder in der Mitte befindet. Zum Aufrollen das Kabel bis zum letzten Klicken herausziehen. Das Kabel sollte jetzt wieder in die normale Position zurückschnappen. Diese Schritte müssen ggf. so lange wiederholt werden, bis das gewünschte Ergebnis erzielt ist. HANDY-ANSCHLUSSSTECKER- SATZ (4) Neben dem mit einem standardmäßigen Nokia-Anschlussstecker ausgestatteten Anschlusskabel enthält dieses Set auch neun separate Stecker. Anhand dieser Stecker kann das mobile Netzanschlussgerät von Tumi mit den 27

30 28 gängigsten Handys, die derzeit auf dem Markt sind, verwendet werden. (Eine separate Liste kompatibler Handys für die mitgelieferten Stecker ist in der beiliegenden Broschüre enthalten.) Nachdem Sie den richtigen Anschlussstecker für Ihr Handy identifiziert haben, setzen Sie diesen auf den kleinen Stecker am Kabel auf und stecken ihn dann in den Stromanschluss Ihres Handys ein. Die neun Stecker können in einem speziellen Trageetui aus Netzstoff mit Reißverschluss aufbewahrt werden. Bitte beachten Sie, dass zusätzliche Stecker einzeln über den Tumi- Kundendienst unter der Nummer TUMI (8864) innerhalb der USA bestellt werden können. B. durch normale Abnutzung innerhalb der ersten zwölf (12) Monate nach Erwerb beschädigt wird, übernimmt Tumi alle Reparaturkosten, sowie Versandkosten zu und von unserem Reparaturzentrum. (Ausgenommen davon sind nur kosmetische Schäden wie zerkratztes Leder.) ZWEITES JAHR: VOLLE DECKUNG Für das zweite Jahr nach Erwerb des Produkts deckt Tumi alle Reparaturkosten für Probleme, die aufgrund von fehlerhaften Materialien, schlechter Verarbeitung oder normaler Abnutzung entstanden sind. Die einzigen Schäden, die nicht von diesem Teil unserer Garantie gedeckt werden, sind Schäden, die aufgrund offensichtlichen Fehlgebrauchs des Produkts entstanden sind sowie kosmetische Schäden. Ihre einzige Verantwortung besteht darin, uns das Produkt zu Reparaturzwecken zuzuschicken oder es zu einem autorisierten Tumi-Händler zu bringen, der Ihren Reparaturauftrag

33 gerne zu einer geringen Bearbeitungs- und Versandgebühr entgegen nimmt. Viele Reparaturen können sogar direkt im Geschäft durchgeführt werden, aber wenn das Produkt zu unserem Reparaturzentrum geschickt werden muss, wird es schnell wieder repariert und kostenlos an Sie zurück geschickt. Sollte die Reparatur ausnahmsweise nicht von der Garantie gedeckt sein, lassen wir Ihnen so schnell wie möglich einen Kostenvoranschlag über die geschätzten Reparaturkosten zukommen.
