With the 30th anniversary of the establishment, our company has been a year of celebration in more than one sense. There was the great success of the 30th anniversary concert of the Southern All Stars, who have been running strong with Amuse for 30 years. There was the major movie hit featuring Masaharu Fukuyama and Yasufumi Terawaki, as well as the continued rise of flumpool, who debuted in October. There was the growth of Perfume and a range of successes by young upcoming performers including Juri Ueno, Takeru Sato, and Haruma Miura. Both new and established artists who work with Amuse have made their presence felt, and thanks to these artists, the Amuse Group has been able to achieve results that include record-breaking sales and profits. And it is not only the activities of separate artists by themselves. The band flumpool debuted as the first artists of the new label company A-Sketch Inc., with the band s package mini album being marketed by Amuse Soft Entertainment Inc. And all aspects of management, sound production, and marketing were carried out within the Amuse Group, indicating a new form of music business for Amuse. The two themes of tradition and innovation and strengthening group synergy, which Amuse has focused on since the appointment as President, have achieved definite results, although more is yet to come and the door of possibilities for the next 30 years remains open. In these times, while continuing to give importance to the spirit of livism, and also focusing on new possibilities presented to us by technology, we believe a theme for us will be to directly deliver a diverse range of products to our customers. And although our sphere of business has expanded, the fundamental stance of Amuse as a producer group remains unchanged. Despite the difficulties presented by the current economic environment and Amuse will no doubt also be affected it is because of these difficult times that we must continue to create inspiration as an entertainment enterprise. We fully intend to continue creating new forms of entertainment, taking on as our baton for the next 30 years the words of our founder, Youkichi Osato, it is only inspiration that reaches the depths of the human soul.
