Please follow the instructions below on how to pair. Charging 1. Connect the micro-usb end of the charging cable to the charging port of the Bluetooth adapter. 2. Plug the USB end of the charging cable to a USB charging port or any active USB port. 3. The LED indicator will turn red when charging. It will automatically turn off when the device is fully charged. Note: You can use the adapter while it is charging. We recommend charging the unit for at least 2 hours before using it for the first time. Pairing Pair in TX mode: 1. Turn on the Bluetooth on your device; make sure the adapter and the device are placed within a 3 feet / 1 meter range. 2. Press and hold the Power Button for 5 seconds (LED indicator flashes blue slowly) and tap twice to enter pairing mode (LED 07/08

7 indicator flashes red and blue alternately). After approximately 30 seconds, the pairing will be done (LED indicator in solid blue). Pair in RX mode: Press and hold the Power Button of the adapter for 5 seconds (LED indicator flashes blue slowly). It will start pairing 5 seconds after being powered on (LED indicator flashes red and blue alternatively). 1. Activate the Bluetooth function on your phone and search for the nearby Bluetooth devices: For ios: Settings > Bluetooth > On For Android: Settings > Wireless & Networks > Bluetooth: On > Scan for devices 2. Find TaoTronics TT-BA07 in the search results and tap on it to connect. Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue. Note: The adapter enters pairing mode automatically when powered on for the first time. The original pairing memory will be cleared after a mode switch. It will automatically start pairing each time it s powered on. If a PIN code is required for pairing, try 0000 (four zeroes), 8888 (four eights), 1111 (four ones), or The adapter can remember previously paired devices and will attempt to pair with devices automatically, without going into pairing mode. Pair with two devices at the same time In TX mode: In TX mode, the adapter is able to pair with two Bluetooth stereo earphones/speakers at the same time. 1. Follow the previous instructions in the Pairing section to pair the TT-BA07 with your first device. 2. Turn off the Bluetooth function on your first device, tap the Power Button twice to pair and connect to your second device. 3. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your first device. In approximately 30 seconds, the second device will automatically connect in. Note: When you pair with two devices, both can play music at the 09/10

8 same time. The adapter will automatically re-pair when powered on. In RX mode: In RX mode, the adapter is able to pair with two Bluetooth devices at the same time. 1. Follow previous instructions in the Pairing section to pair the TT-BA07 with your first device. Disable the Bluetooth function on your first device. Tap the Power Button twice to pair with the second device. 2. Turn on the Bluetooth of the first device, now TT-BA07 adapter is successfully paired with both devices. Note: Only one device can play music at any time. You have to stop the music on one device to play on the other. The adapter will automatically re-pair when powered on. Care and Maintenance Keep the adapter away from heat and humidity. Do not expose the adapter to direct sunlight or extreme heat. Do not try to take the adapter apart. It may cause serious damage. Do not drop or knock the adapter on hard surfaces as it damages the interior circuit. Do not use chemicals or detergents to clean the product. Do not scrape the surface with sharp objects. Troubleshooting My adapter will not power on. Please recharge it and make sure the adapter has enough battery power. Plug the unit to a charger and see if the LED indicator becomes red. I am having trouble pairing and connecting to my Bluetooth pairing device. Please check the following: Your Bluetooth device supports the A2DP profile. The adapter and your device are next to each other or within 3 feet / 1 meter. The adapter is in pairing mode; this is indicated by the LED flashing in red and blue alternately. 11/12

9 After connecting and pairing with my Bluetooth device, I cannot hear any music from my sound system. Please check the following: Your sound system is connected to the adapter via the 3.5mm Audio Cable. Make sure the music volume is at an audible level on both your Bluetooth device and sound system. For some systems, you may need to select AUX or Line-in as the audio input mode. Please make sure your audio device is playing music via Bluetooth. Some devices (such as computer) require manually selecting the music output mode. Can I use the TT-BA07 adapter while it is charging? Yes, the adapter is designed to be used while charging. The internal circuit is protected from over-charging. Warranty This product is covered with TaoTronics parts and labor warranty for 12 months from date of its original purchase. If the device fails due to a manufacturing defect, please contact TaoTronics Support (support@taotronics.com) immediately to launch a warranty claim. We will instruct you on how to return the defective unit back to us for repair and replacement. The following are excluded from TaoTronics warranty cover: Device purchased as 2nd hand, used, or from unauthorized sellers Damage resulted from misuse and abusive action Damage resulted from chemical, fire, radioactive substance, poison, or liquid Damage resulted from natural disaster Damage caused to any 3rd party, person, object, and beyond No return will be accepted without seller authorization. 13 Hinweis: Der Modus kann nur geändert werden, wenn der Adapter für mindestens 3 Sekunden lang ausgeschaltet ist. Nach dem Umschalten werden die Verbindungsinformationen zu anderen Geräten gelöscht. Hinweis: Bei der ersten Benutzung aktiviert der Adapter nach dem Einschalten automatisch den Verbindungsmodus. Anweisungen zum Herstellen einer Bluetoothverbindung finden Sie im folgenden Abschnitt. Aktivieren Sie die Bluetoothfunktion auf Ihrem Smartphone und suchen Sie nach verfügbaren Bluetoothverbindungen: Bei ios: Einstellungen> Bluetooth > Ein Bei Android: Einstellungen>kabellos& Netzwerke>Bluetooth: Ein >nach Geräten suchen 2. Zum Herstellen einer Verbindung wählen Sie TaoTronics TT-BA07 aus den Suchergebnissen aus. Sobald die Verbindung hergestellt ist, leuchtet die LED blau. Hinweis: Der Adapter wechselt automatisch in den Verbindungsmodus, wenn er zum ersten Mal eingeschaltet wird. Bei einem Moduswechsel werden gespeicherten Verbindungsinformationen gelöscht. Es wird automatisch der Verbindungsmodus nach dem Einschalten gestartet. Falls eine PIN für eine Verbindung benötigt wird, versuchen Sie es mit einer der folgenden Kombinationen: 0000, 8888, 1111 oder Der Adapter kann sich zuvor hergestellte Verbindungen merken und wird versuchen, sich mit bekannten Geräten zu verbinden, ohne in den Verbindungsmodus zu wechseln. Wartung und Pflege Halten sie das Gerät vor Hitze und Feuchtigkeit geschützt. Setzen Sie dem Adapter nicht dem direkten Sonnenlicht und extremer Hitze aus. Überprüfen Sie ob: Problembehandlung Mein Adapter lässt sich nicht einschalten Versichern Sie sich ob genügend Akkuleistung vorhanden ist und laden Sie das Gerät ggf. vollständig auf. Verbinden Sie den Adapter mit einem Ladegerät und vergewissern Sie sich, ob die LED-Anzeige rot leuchtet. Ich habe Probleme, den Adapter mit meinem Endgerät über Bluetooth zu verbinden Bitte stellen fest ob: Ihr Bluetoothgerät das A2DP Profil unterstützt Ihr Adapter und Ihr Entgerät weniger als 90 cm voneinander entfernt sind. Sich Ihr Gerät im Verbindungsmodus befindet, zu erkennen an der abwechselnd rot und blau blinkenden LED-Anzeige. Ihr Musikwiedergabegerät mit dem Adapter über das 3,5 mm Audio Klinkenkabel verbunden ist. Die Lautstärke bei Ihrem Adapter und bei Ihrem Audiogerät aufgedreht ist.
