4 CHARGE YOUR GEAR Venture 30 is designed to charge POV cameras, phones, tablets, and other USB-powered devices. Headlamp 5-10x POV Camera 5x Phone 2-3x 7 Tablet 1x 1. Using your charging cable, plug into Venture 30 s USB ports they ll both work at the same time at 2.4A so you can share power with a buddy. SMART CHARGE SEQUENCE Venture 30 s advanced smart charging feature allows you to optimize and adapt its USB outputs to charge your gear as fast as possible. This sequence runs independently for both USB ports meaning you can set different charging profiles for each port. Fastest profiles will be applied and saved until reset or the sequence is run again. 1. With your gear plugged into Venture 30 s USB port, press and hold the Battery button for approximately 5 seconds to activate the smart charge sequence. 2. The blue indicator lights will begin to flash as different profiles are automatically tested with your gear. 3. When the lights finish flashing, the fastest profile has been selected. HOW IT WORKS: You might have noticed if you plug your device into a charger claiming a high output your device still charges slowly. How quickly your device charges comes down to communication between the charger and what you plug in. Every device has its own preference when it comes to charging, the challenge is identifying the language used by the manufacturer to decode that preference. Venture 30 s smart charging feature acts as a translator, identifying your device s language, decoding and applying the fastest charging profile possible, without overcharging or overheating. This feature makes Venture 30 one of the most compatible chargers on the market. We recommend running the smart charge sequence anytime you experience slow charge times or when plugging in new gear. Blue Indicator Lights Battery Button 2. If your device charges from micro USB, use the built-in cable. 3. The blue indicator lights will flash according to how quickly your gear is charging. A slow flash indicates a slow charge, while quicker flashing indicates faster charging. If you re experiencing slow charge times, run the smart charge sequence (see next section) and ensure Venture 30 is fully charged. FLASHLIGHT Venture 30 comes with a built-in 65 lumen flashlight with three settings: high, low, and strobe. TURN ON/OFF Press the Flashlight button to turn on the 65 lumen flashlight. Flashlight FLASHLIGHT SETTINGS 1. Press and hold the Flashlight button for approximately 5 seconds all the lights will flash once indicating you ve entered flashlight selection mode. 2. With the Flashlight button still held down, press the Battery button to cycle through 5 light modes. Whichever mode you are in when you release the Flashlight button will become the default mode. It s engineered to get out, stay out and handle whatever Mother Nature can throw your way even a quick drop in a puddle. Do not submerge Venture 30. TROUBLESHOOTING Gear not charging? 1. Check the battery level of Venture 30 by pressing the Battery button. When Venture 30 s battery is dead, the first blue indicator light will flash when the Battery button is pushed. SHIPPING AND STORAGE MODE If you won t be using Venture 30 for long periods of time, reactivate the shipping/storage mode to prevent self-discharge. This also resets Venture 30 to default factory settings. 1. Hold the Battery button for approximately 30 seconds, until the lights flash. 2. Charge up Venture 30 by using the included cable or solar. 3. Try a soft reset of Venture 30 (see below). Soft Reset: Used to restart a frozen Venture 30, or if you re having trouble charging gear. 1. Press and hold the Flashlight button for approximately 30 seconds. You ll see an initial flash of the lights, indicating you re entering flashlight selection mode. 2. Release the Battery button. 3. Exit this mode by plugging Venture 30 into a live USB source. RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS Used to erase all saved charging profiles and set Venture 30 to shipping/storage mode. 1. Press and hold the Battery button for approximately 30 seconds until the lights flash. Venture 30 is now reset and in shipping/storage mode. 2. Continue holding until the lights flash twice in a row. The blue LED lights will also flash, indicating a successful reset. 3. Press the Battery button or wait 5 seconds to resume normal operation. Tout de même, ne submergez pas volontairement votre Venture 30. DÉPANNAGE Vos appareils ne se chargent pas? 1. Vérifiez le niveau de charge de la batterie de votre Venture 30 en appuyant sur le bouton de batterie. Lorsque la batterie de votre Venture 30 est déchargée, seul le premier voyant bleu clignote lorsque le bouton de batterie est pressé. MODE DE TRANSPORT ET DE STOCKAGE Si vous n utilisez pas votre Venture 30 pendant une longue période, il est conseillé de réactiver le mode de transport/stockage pour empêcher une décharge automatique. Rechargez votre Venture 30 en utilisant le câble fourni. 3. Essayez une réinitialisation rapide de votre Venture 30 (voir ci-dessous). Réinitialisation rapide : permet de redémarrer un Venture 30 gelé ou lors de difficultés de recharge. 1. Maintenez le bouton de lampe enfoncé pendant environ 30 secondes. Vous observerez un clignotement initial des voyants, indiquant que vous êtes entrés dans le mode de sélection de la lampe. 2. Relâchez le bouton de batterie. 3. Pour sortir de ce mode de transport/stockage, branchez simplement votre Venture 30 sur un port USB d alimentation. 13 DEINE GERÄTE AUFLADEN Mit dem Venture 30 können POV-Kameras, Handys und andere, USB-gespeiste Handgeräte aufgeladen werden. Scheinwerfer 5-10 Mal POV-Kamera 5 Mal Handy 2-3 Mal Tablet einmal 1. Steck einfach das Ladekabel des jeweiligen Geräts in die USB-Ports des Venture 30 ein (2.4A) beide funktionieren gleichzeitig, sodass auch dein Freund sein Gerät aufladen kann. 7 CLEVERE AUFLADESEQUENZ Die clever Aufladesequenz des Venture 30 erlaubt dir, die USB-Ausgangsleistungen zu optimieren und anzupassen, um deine Geräte so schnell wie möglich zu laden. Diese Sequenz läuft für beide USB-Ports separat du kannst als für jeden Port andere Ladeparameter festlegen. Es werden die schnellsten Parameter angewendet und gespeichert, bis du das Gerät zurücksetzt oder die Aufladesequenz abermals abläuft. 1. Schließe dein Gerät an den USB-Port des Venture 30 an und drücke und halte den Batterieknopf ca. 5 Sekunden lang gedrückt, um die clevere Aufladesequenz zu aktivieren. 2. Die blauen Leuchtanzeigen beginnen zu blinken, sobald die unterschiedlichen Parameter bei deinem Gerät getestet werden. 3. Sobald die Anzeigen nicht mehr blinken, ist das schnellste Aufladeprofil ausgewählt. WIE DAS GERÄT FUNKTIONIERT: Du hast sicher schon bemerkt, dass, wenn du dein Gerät an ein Ladegerät ansteckst, das eine hohe Ausgangsleistung verlangt, sich dein Gerät trotzdem langsam auflädt. Die Geschwindigkeit des Ladevorgangs hängt von der Kommunikation zwischen Ladegerät und dem jeweils angesteckten Gerät ab. Jedes Gerät verhält sich beim Aufladen anders, sodass die Aufgabe darin besteht, die Sprache herauszufinden, die der Hersteller benutzt hat, um das jeweilige Geräteverhalten beim Aufladen zu dekodieren. Das Clevere Auflade-Feature des Venture 30 fungiert in diesem Zusammenhang wie ein Übersetzer und ermittelt die Sprache des jeweiligen Geräts, entschlüsselt sie und wendet dann das schnellstmögliche Aufladeprofil an ohne Gefahr einer Überladung oder Überhitzung. Und genau durch dieses Feature wird das Venture 30 zu einem der interessantesten Ladegeräte auf dem Markt. Wir empfehlen die Verwendung der cleveren Aufladesequenz jedes Mal, wenn sich irgendein Gerät langsam auflädt oder wenn du noch nicht erkannte, neue Geräte ansteckst. Wenn der Ladevorgang sehr langsam ist, dann verwende die clevere Aufladesequenz (vgl. nächster Punkt) und vergewissere dich, dass das Venture 30 vollständig geladen ist. TASCHENLAMPE Das Venture 30 verfügt über eine Taschenlampe mit 65 Lumen und drei Helligkeitseinstellungen: hoch, niedrig und Stroboskop. Drücke den Taschenlampenknopf, um die 65-Lumen Taschenlampe einzuschalten. Taschenlampe 1. Drücke und halte den Taschenlampenknopf ca. 5 Sekunden lang gedrückt, bis alle Anezigen einmal blinken und dir anzeigen, dass du nun die Einstellungen der Taschenlampe auswählen kannst. 2. Halte den Taschenlampenknopf immer noch gedrückt und drücke den Batterieknopf, um durch die 5 Einstellungen zu navigieren. Sobald du den Taschenlampenknopf loslässt, wird die Einstellung, die gerade ausgewählt ist, zur Standardeinstellung deiner Taschenlampe. 14 ROBUSTES DESIGN Das Venture 30 verfügt über ein IPX6-Rating. Das Gerät verträgt also Spritzwasser, du kannst es zum Strand mitnehmen oder auch mal im Regen vergessen und musst dir aufgrund der Gummistecker niemals Sorgen machen. Das Gerät ist so gebaut, dass es für den Gebrauch im Freien gedacht ist und auch Draußen bleiben kann und mit allem, was Mutter Natur so an Überraschungen bietet, problemlos klarkommt selbst wenn es kurz in eine Pfütze fällt. FEHLERSUCHE Deine Geräte werden nicht geladen? 1. Du kannst den Batteriestand des Venture 30 durch Drücken des Batterieknopfs überprüfen. Sollten die Batterien des Venture 30 leer sein, beginnt bei gedrücktem Batterieknopf die erste blaue Leuchtanzeige zu blinken. Das Venture 30 nicht unter Wasser halten. LIEFERUNGS- UND LAGERMODUS Solltest du das Venture 30 für längere Zeit nicht benutzen, reaktiviere bitte den Lieferungs- und Lagermodus des Geräts, damit es sich nicht selbst entlädt. Dadurch wird das Venture 30 zudem auf die Standard-Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt. 1. Halte den Batterieknopf ca. 30 Sekunden lang gedrückt, bis die Leuchtanzeigen blinken. 2. Verwende das mitgelieferte Kabel, um das Venture 30 wieder aufzuladen. 3. Probiere das Venture 30 warm zu starten (s. unten). Warmstart: Zur Verwendung für einen Neustart eines abgekühlten Venture 30 oder bei Problemen mit der Aufladung von Geräten. 1. Drücke und halte den Taschenlampenknopf ca. 30 Sekunden lang. Alle Leuchtanzeigen blinken zunächst einmal auf, und zeigen dir an, dass du im Auswahlmodus der Taschenlampenhelligkeit bist. 2. Lasse den Batterieknopf wieder los. 3. Diesen Modus kannst du später wieder verlassen, indem du das Venture 30 an eine aktive USB- Quelle ansteckst. WERKSEINSTELLUNGEN WIEDER HERSTELLEN Damit werden alle gespeicherten Aufladeprofile und Parameter gelöscht und das Venture 30 wieder in den Lieferungs-/Lagermodus gesetzt. 1. Drücke und halten den Batterieknopf ca. 30 Sekunden lang, bis die Leuchtanzeigen blinken. Das Venture 30 ist jetzt zurückgestellt und der Lieferungs-/Lagermodus ist aktiviert. 2. Um das Venture 30 zu reaktivieren, steckst du es einfach an einen USB-Port, sodass die blauen Leuchtanzeigen zu blinken beginnen und dir anzeigen, dass das Venture 30 bereit zum Aufladen ist. Ladekabel verloren? Kein Problem. Das Venture 30 kann mit jedem Mikro-USB Kabel ebenfalls geladen werden. Neue Ladekabel gibt es alternativ auch bei www. GoalZero.com 2. Halte den Knopf weiterhin gedrückt, bis die Anzeigen zweimal hintereinander blinken. Die blauen LED-Leuchten blinken ebenfalls und zeigen dir dadurch an, dass der Neustart erfolgreich war. 3. Drück nun den Batterieknopf oder warte 5 Sekunden. Danach kannst du mit dem normalen Betrieb fortfahren. 16 CARGUE SU EQUIPO El Venture 30 está diseñado para cargar cámaras POV, teléfonos, tabletas y otros dispositivos alimentados por USB. Usando su cable de cargar, conéctelos a sus puertos USB del Venture 30 (2.4A) ambos funcionarán a la misma vez, por lo que puede compartir la energía con un amigo. RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS Su dispositivo no está cargando? 1. Revise el nivel de la batería del Venture 30 presionando el botón de la batería. Cuando la batería del Venture 30 está descargada, la primera luz indicadora azul parpadeará al presionar el botón de la batería. MODO DE ENVÍO Y ALMACENAJE Si no va a usar el Venture 30 por largos períodos de tiempo, reactive el modo de envío/almacenaje para evitar que se descargue solo. Esto también restablecerá el Ventura 30 a las configuraciones de fábrica. 1. Mantenga presionado el botón de la batería por 30 segundos aproximadamente, hasta que la luz parpadee. 2.
