Experimental UDMA-based resin cements with five different transparencies were fabricated by adding 0.05, 0.1, 0.15 and 0.2 mass TiO2 powder. Experimental cement without TiO2 powder 0was also prepared. Disk specimens 10 mm diameter and 1 mm thick were prepared from bilayered indirect resin composite CERAMAGE, Shofu, CM-59 incisal color, 0.8 mm thick and CM-A 3 B body color, 0.2 mm thick Disk-shaped abutment 10 mm diameter and 2 mm thick was made from resin abutment material Die Color Checker, Shofu, DC-1A layer of the set cement 100 µm thick was placed between the indirect resin composite and the abutment discs. Both the color differences E*ab, n 5 between the specimens with and without the cement layer and the TP value of disc specimens were determined using a spectrocolorimeter PR 650 Photo Research before control and after thermal cycling 555, 1,000, 5,000, 10,000 cyclesthe results were statistically compared using ANOVA/Scheffè s test. L* value of the specimen after thermal cycling was significantly decrease than the specimen before thermal cycling p 0.05 a* value of the specimen after thermal cycling was significantly increase than before thermal cycling p 0.05There were no significant differences in b* and E*ab values among all the specimens p 0.05Adding more 0.1 mass TiO2 powder in experimental cement was effect of constraining to change in color of indirect resin composite after thermal cycling.
