28 94 31 The Current State of Teleworking and Beyond: E-Homeworking in the Age of 100-Year Life. Jun KANAMITSU ABSTRACT Teleworking has been being recommended by Abe Administration as flexible working styles, especially, for working women in a series of measures taken for the so-called Work Style Reform, hararakikata kaikaku. I explored the possibility of such flexible working styles based on a nation-wide web survey.i proposed the concept of e-homework rather than teleworking in favor of work autonomy at home.social configuration maps of e-homeworkers, by way of multiple correspondence analyses, show that professional e-homeworkers are positioned far away from other types of e-homeworkers for women, so are e-lancers for men.the majority of male e-homeworkers are fully employed including managers, followed by self-employed e-homeworkers. A life time trajectory of female e-homeworkers was detected by simple simulations of cross classifications of age cohorts by e-homework categories. A multi-careers spring board model of e-homework à la Lynda Gratton 2016 was proposed for women to project the probable future of e-homework based on possible social and technological changes that would take place in the near future and has been occurring at present time.e-home work plays a spring board for women in order to jump out of the current working situations: E-homeworking provides time and space for explorations, contemplations, and getting ready for independent producing at every stag of multi-career transitions.
