1 学習習熟度別学級編成における 高校生の自己受容感と学級適応感の関連性について (2) The relationship between self acceptance and adjustment to the classroom in high school students who has been divided classroom into degree of achievement of the learning (2) 小川響 1 1 大妻女子大学大学院人間文化研究科臨床心理学専攻 Kyo Ogawa 1 1 Studies in Clinical Psychology, Graduate School of Studies in Human Culture, Otsuma Women s University Karakida, Tama City, Tokyo, Japan キーワード : 自己受容, 学級適応, 環境, 集団, 自己実現 Key words:self-acceptance, Adjustment, Environment, Group, Self-actualization 抄録本研究は, 学習習熟度別学級編成における高校生の自己受容感と学級適応感の関連性を検証し, 従来学力の変遷ばかりに注目がおかれてきた学習習熟度別学級であるが, 本研究において生徒の心理的側面にも着目し現代青年期を生きる高校生の適応傾向を探ることで教育現場における適応支援に役立てることを目的とした. 学校コミュニティにおける心理職の役割としては, 生徒と環境の適合性を最大にする努力をすることが大きなテーマであり, 教育現場における教育相談の推進にとっては個人を取り巻く学校コミュニティを重視した取り組みが欠かせない ( 樺沢, 2014). このため, 近年広がりつつあるこの教育形態を鑑みた研究がなされることは, 教育現場における臨床活動にとって意義のあることと思われた. 調査対象者は, 学習習熟度の程度により高組 中組 低組の 3 群に振り分けられた進学高校に在籍する 2012 年度の入学生 260 名 ( 男子 153 名, 女子 107 名 ) であった. なお, 発達的な視点も取り入れ, 高校生活 3 年間に渡り同集団を調査対象とし, 縦断的 横断的に研究した. 質問紙法による調査を行い, 使用尺度は, 宮沢 (1987) の 自己受容測定スケール (SAI), 大久保 (2005) の 青年用適応感尺度 を用いた. 各尺度の因子分析, 相関分析を行った結果, 高組では, 友人同士の繋がりを大切にするというよりは個人の生き方を大切にし, 自分の良い面を最大限に活かせるような生き方を試みることが示唆された. 中組では,3 年間を通して他 2 クラスよりも自分に対して自己分析的であり, 分相応の生活を試みることが示唆された. 最後に低組では, 自分にとって誇れるものがある現実に自己価値を置き, その面を打ち出してゆくことを積極的に試みることが示唆された. また,3 クラスに共通する発達的な視点として,3 年間を通して Maslow の自己実現理論に従って徐々に自己実現に向かってゆくことがクラスでの適応の要因となっていることが示された. 加えて, 自己受容に関しては, 発達と共に自己に対して目を向けられる面が徐々に増えてゆくことが分かり, 自己受容できる側面が徐々に増えてゆくことで自己と環境とのズレを適応的に処理しやすくなることが推察された. 生徒の所属環境により適応傾向に特徴があることが明らかにされたことで, 適応支援の際の一つの知見として教員へのコンサルテーションやケースマネジメント等に応用できる可能性が示唆されることとなったが, 類似研究の少なさから本研究結果の一貫性 信頼性については疑問の余地が残った. このため, 他の学校においても研究を実施する等, 今後繰り返し研究が重ねられることが期待された. 学習習熟度別学級編成における高校生の自己受容感と学級適応感の関連性について (2) 262
2 1. 問題適応とは一般に, 個人と環境の相互作用を表す概念で, 個人と環境との調和と定義づけられており ( 大久保, 2005), 高校生までを対象とした適応感研究の多くは, 主に学校への適応感や不適応感に焦点を当てている. それらの従来の学校適応感研究では, 適応感を規定する環境的な要因として, 重要な他者である友人 親 教師との関係および学業に対する姿勢といった因子が挙げられてきており, それらの因子こそが適応感を規定するものと考えられてきた. そのため, 学校適応感はこれらの環境的要因のもとで測定がなされてきており, 友人 親 教師との関係も良好で学業にも積極的に取り組む生徒が最も学校に適応していると考えられてきた. しかし, 例えばそれらの要因のうち一部が欠如していたとしても, その全生徒が不適応に陥るとは考えにくい. 実際に大久保 (2005) は, 教師との関係が良好でなくとも学校への適応の問題を抱えていない生徒, 学業に積極的でなくても学校への適応の問題を抱えていない生徒も現に存在することを指摘しており, 従来の適応感因子を用いて調査を行った結果, 教師因子 学業因子が適応感と全く関係していなかった学校があった. つまり, 生徒が適応に際して重要視している側面は個々人により異なるということがいえる. このことから大久保 (2005) は, 学校適応感の規定因は学校ごとに異なりその影響の仕方は学校の特徴を反映すると主張している. 近年においては, 学習習熟度別学級編成を展開する教育形態が広がりつつあるが, ここでもまた, そのほとんどの実証的な研究の従属変数は成績面に限られており, 態度的側面の研究はいまだ十分でない. 昨今ではほとんどの生徒がこの教育形態を経験しているという社会的背景から, 学習習熟度別学級という集団に属することで生徒は適応感に関してどのような影響を受けているのか, その環境に所属することで生徒は適応に際してどのような側面を重要視するのか, 質的に検討する余地はあると思われる. 2. 目的適応とは, 自分の所属環境の有する文化の中で, 自分にとっての重要な側面をいかに打ち出してゆけるかということであると考える. 所属環境の文化は, その集団を成している構成員によって形作られるものであるが, それはすなわち 集団として 目指すもの でもある. つまり, 環境から求められる理想の姿であり, それを目指すことはその環境においての適応の形とも換言できるが, それと自分にとっての重要な側面が合致しているとは一概には言えない. そのような際に生じるものが, 自己受容であると考える. つまり, 自分にとっての重要な側面と自分の所属環境から求められる理想の姿とにズレが生じている場合, その適応をするために必要な側面に関して自己受容を促し, 環境との折り合いをつけ適応を図っているものと考える. すなわち, 自己受容をするからこそ適応することが出来る. 所属環境で適応するためには, 学習習熟度別学級が生徒にどのような重要な側面を形成させているのかを探る必要があり, またそこにおいて環境と自己とにズレが生じ不適応に陥っているのならば, そのズレの自己受容が促進できるような支援を提供することが臨床的に重要となってくる. このように, 自己受容と適応とは密接に関連があると考えられるため, 本研究においては自己受容感との関連も検討することとする. さらに, 学級適応感研究を行った小川 (2013) において, 高校 1 年生時の結果として学習習熟度群ごとに異なる適応傾向が見られたことから,2 年生時 3 年生時においても発達的変化に伴い個々の発達課題も変化し, それによって自己にとっての重要な側面にも変化が見られることが予想される. そこで, 本研究では, 同集団を対象とした高校生活 3 年間に渡る追跡調査を行う. 高校 1 年生から 3 年生までの 3 年間に渡り, 年度ごとに各学習習熟度群を横断的に比較, または各学習習熟度群の 1 年生から 3 年生までの変遷を縦断的に研究することで, 現代青年期を生きる高校生の適応傾向を多方面から探り, 教育現場における適応支援に役立てることを目的とする. 集団の適応傾向を探ることは, 不適応傾向にある個人の, 集団とのズレを明確にする一つの手掛かりとなり, そのズレの自己受容すなわち適応を促進出来るような支援を提供する際の一つの資源となり得る. 学校コミュニティにおける心理職の役割としては, 生徒と環境の適合性を最大にする努力をすることが大きなテーマであり, 教育現場における教育相談の推進にとっては, 個人を取り巻く学校コミュニティを重視した取り組みが欠かせない. 問題を個々の事例と捉えるだけでなく, 学校全体を一つの事例とみなし, チーム支援による対応力の発揮を促すことも重要である. 学校コ 学習習熟度別学級編成における高校生の自己受容感と学級適応感の関連性について (2) 263
3 ミュニティが持つ資源を整理し, 構造化してマネジメントすることが大切である ( 樺沢, 2014). このことから, 本研究結果は, チーム支援としての教員へのコンサルテーション, または教育現場におけるケースマネジメントの際の一つの知見として応用されることが期待される. 3. 方法 2.1. 調査対象者学習習熟度の程度により, 高組 中組 低組の 3 水準を設けた学習習熟度別学級編成を展開する関東地方の進学高校に在籍する 2012 年度の入学者 260 名 ( 男子 153 名, 女子 107 名 ) を対象とした. なお, 研究協力校は受験進学校であり, 生徒全員が大学進学を目指している. クラス編成の仕方としては, 入学試験時の成績により成績優秀者から順にクラス分けが成されている. なお, 進級時にはクラス変動があり, 成績優秀な生徒, 成績が振るわなかった生徒は, 前年度の成績に応じたクラスへ移動する 調査時期および調査内容調査時期は,2012 年 9 月,2013 年 9 月, および 2014 年 9 月. 質問紙法による調査であり,2 つの尺度を用いた. この他にフェイスシートを作成し, 所属する学習習熟度別クラス, 性別を記入する項目を設け, さらに所属クラスの満足度を 6 件法で設定しその理由を問う自由記述欄も設けた. 使用尺度は,27 項目 4 件法の 自己受容測定スケール (SAI) ( 宮沢, 1987),30 項目 5 件法の 青年用適応感尺度 ( 大久保, 2005) を用いた 実施手続き 2012 年から 2014 年までの毎年 9 月に, 学級を単位とする集団法で行った. 研究開始初年度において, 新入生という独特な特徴をできるだけ排除するため, 友人 教員ともある程度交流が行われていることが予想された 9 月を選択した. 以後も, 研究を継続する上で条件を統制する目的で, 前年度と同様の時期を選択している. また, 各学級担任に協力を仰ぎ, 外的な剰余変数を統制するために全クラス同じ時間の授業内に一斉に調査を行う. 4. 結果 考察 1 年生時では, 高組 33 名 中組 88 名 低組 116 名の計 237 名から有効な回答が得られた ( 回収率 100%, 有効回答率 91.1%).2 年生時では, 高組 46 名 中組 57 名 低組 131 名の計 234 名から有効な回答が得られた ( 回収率 100%, 有効回答率 90.0%). 3 年生時では, 高組 47 名 中組 62 名 低組 125 名の計 234 名から有効な回答が得られた ( 回収率 100%, 有効回答率 90.0%). 各尺度の因子分析 ( 主因子法社交回転 ), 相関分析を行った表が, 表 である. なお, 相関係数の解釈としては, 小数点第 3 位以上を四捨五入した値を用い,r=.30 までを弱い相関,r=.40~.60 までを中程度の相関,r=.70 以上を強い相関とした. その結果, 高組では, 友人同士の繋がりを大切にするというよりは個人の生き方を大切にし, 自分の良い面を最大限に活かせるような生き方を試みることが示唆された. 中組では,3 年間を通して他 2 クラスよりも自分に対して自己分析的であり, 分相応の生活を試みることが示唆された. 最後に低組では, 自分にとって誇れるものがある現実に自己価値を置き, その面を打ち出してゆくことを積極的に試みることが示唆された. また, 高校生活 3 年間での学級適応感因子の変遷を見ると,3 年間を通して Maslow の自己実現理論に従って徐々に自己実現に向かっていく様子がうかがえる.1 年次では安全欲求や表面的な所属欲求の充足が主軸となり, 外的に充たされたいという低次の欲求がある.2 年次では,1 年次よりも深みのある所属欲求が強く出て, 学校生活の主軸となる.3 年次では, 外的に充たされることよりも内的に充たされることに焦点が移り,2 年次の所属欲求の強さに代わり承認欲求が表れ, 何らかの目的意識も確立し自己実現欲求も表れる. つまり, 環境への適応とは, その環境に所属しながらいかに自分を打ち出し, 自己実現をしていくかということであり, 換言すれば, いかにその環境で自分にとっての重要な側面の模索をし, 自己受容しながら環境との折り合いを付けてゆくか, ということであると考えられる. 次に自己受容感因子の変遷を見る.1 年次では, 何となく自己について把握しているつもりでも漠然としているために根拠のない自信で物事を処理することとなり, 根拠がないが故に新たな躓きに遭遇することとなる. そこで 2 年次では, 自己を客観的に見つめるようになり, 改めて自分とはど 学習習熟度別学級編成における高校生の自己受容感と学級適応感の関連性について (2) 264

However, by the conventional research which observed the educational form, since there were many by which the focus was put on changes of academic ability, by this research, it focused on the attitude side and verified about the high school student's feeling of class adaptation. In addition, we were intended that we made use for the adaptation support in the educational front by investigating a tendency to adaptation of the high school student who lived in modern youth in this study. It was shown clearly that an investigation candidate had a difference in an adaptation tendency according to a student's affiliation environment with the results at the time of an entrance examination as a result of research for the student who was able to distribute to the class according to study skill level of three groups. For concrete taxonomy; Value an individual way of life in a high rank results group. Try a suitable life in a middle results group. The field which it can be proud of for itself in a low grade results group is set forth. The result shown above was a factor of adaptation of each group. It is a big theme that the role of the psychology job in the school community maximizes environmental compatibility with a student. For the promotion of the education consultation in the educational front, the action that made much of school community surrounding the individual is indispensable (Kabasawa, 2014). By it having been shown that an adaptation tendency had the feature according to a student's affiliation environment, a possibility that it will be applicable to consultation to a teacher, case management, etc. As one knowledge is suggested at the time of adaptation support. However, the room for question remains by analogy with the fewer other similar studies about reliability, the consistency of these findings. It is a future problem. We carry out the study in other high schools presenting class organization according to the degree of achievement of the learning. Furthermore, we perform comparison when class organization according to the degree of achievement of the learning was carried out in the high school which does not carry out this education form and will think that there is the need of the still deeper examination in future.
