Name and functionality of principal parts Remote control unit Remote control operation indicator Flashes while the remote control button is being pressed. Power button Turns ON and OFF video and audio output. Setting menu button rings up the setting menu screen. Input select button Lets you change between the S or 0-degree CS digital broadcast screen and the i.link component which is connected. Component operation panel button Lets you display the operating panel for controlling the i.link component which is connected. Data button rings up the data broadcast screen for the data broadcasting program. Pause button Lets you pause and un-pause the picture being displayed. Channel number entry button rings up the number entry screen for selecting channels by directly entering channel numbers using the number buttons. roadcast select button Lets you switch between S digital broadcasts and 0-degree CS digital broadcasts such as PLAT-ONE and Sky PerfecTV!. Service select button Lets you change between different S digital broadcasting services (TV, radio, data). Original screen button Lets you change from the EPG and menu screens back to the broadcast screen for the selected channel. Enter button EPG menu button FGIH buttons Remote control unit operation To use and operate this tuner by remote control unit, please point the remote control unit toward the remote control signal receptor on tuner. Program banner button rings up the program banners. Sub-menu button rings up the sub menu on screen. Remote control signal receptor 0 Power indicator Indicates video and audio output is on when it is green, off when it is red. off when it is orange, but only i.link can still be used. Power button Information button rings up the Program or Channel Information screen for currently being selected. Picture select button Lets you change between pictures when the broadcast consists of multiple pictures. Channelbutton Selects a channel by up and down through the channels. Audio select button Lets you change between audio EPG menu button rings up the EPG menu screen EPG button rings up the Electronic Program Guide(EPG) screen of currently tuned channel. Other channel EPG button rings up the Electronic Program Guide(EPG) screenof other channels. lue button Red button channels when the broadcast includes multiple audio channels. FGIHbuttons Change your selection, highlighted item, on screen, in the selection or setting screens. Enter button Activates your selection. ack button Removes the selection or setting screen which is currently shown. Yellow button Green button These buttons can be used to change the date whenis displayed, and when a screen that indicates that the color buttons can be used is displayed. Number buttons Selection of the channels and used for on-screen numeric input. # button rings up the favorite channel selection screen and lets you clear numbers which have been entered one by one starting from the last digit entered. Recall button Selects previously tuned channel. Digital HDTV indicator Illuminates when a digital HDTV broadcast is being received. S indicator and CS indicator Illuminates when a S digital broadcast or 0- degree CS digital broadcast is being received. Message indicator Indicates whether you have unread mail. Reservation indicator Indicates whether your reserved program has been running. i.link indicator Illuminates when i.link is being used.
