The increase in students who use mobile devices, such as, Wi-Fi enabled mobile PCs, smartphones and tablets, has urged us to improve the wireless LAN system in Kagoshima University. Therefore, in the most recent replacement of campus information network system, we built the novel campus-wide wireless LAN system introducing telecommunication carrier s Wi-Fi services.
