A study on Primacy of Caring, Stress and Coping in Health and Illness Kimura Machiko Abstract The purpose of this paper is to give a survey and evaluation of the coping method of stress described in Primacy of caring, Stress and Coping in Health and Illness written by Benner,Patricia and Wrubel,Judith in 1988. Benner/Wrubel explain the relationships between caring and the method of coping with stress, based on their phenomenological viewpoint of human beings.
