Manual Welcome to the Koubachi Wi-Fi Plant Sensor This manual explains how to set up and configure your Wi-Fi Plant Sensor and use its key features. System Requirements Internet connection through Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) Wi-Fi reception at location of plant For Wi-Fi configuration, you need a computer with a browser or an Apple ios device. Wi-Fi Configuration 1 iphone, ipod or ipad: Download the Koubachi App from the Apple App Store. Other systems: Open your Internet browser and register at http://go.koubachi.com. 2 Insert batteries. 3 Configure the Wi-Fi Plant Sensor by following the instructions in the App. 4 Stick the sensor into the soil near your plant. Water Resistance The indoor version is splash proof (IPX1). The outdoor version is rainproof (IPX4). Do not immerse the sensor in water. Functionality The Wi-Fi Plant Sensor measures soil moisture, light intensity, and temperature. All measurements are wirelessly transmitted to the Koubachi server for analysis. 2
The Sensor Button Instant Measurement Briefly press for instant measurement and transmission. (Green Light) Wi-Fi Configuration Press and hold for three seconds to activate the configuration mode. (Orange Light) Reset Press and hold for ten seconds to reset the stored network settings (Wi-Fi configuration data). After a reset, Wi-Fi configuration is required again. Your Plant data on the server will not be deleted. (Red Light) 3
Care Instructions Cleaning: The sensor tip can be cleaned with a moist cloth. Do not use oil containing substances. The sensor tip must only be cleaned with pure water. Battery replacement: Under normal circumstances, the lifespan of the batteries is approximately one year. When replacing the batteries, make sure to close the compartment screw firmly before tightening the close mechanism. Always use high quality disposable AA batteries. Important Safety Information Handle with care when stiacking into soil! Do not use force. If necessary, loosen hard soil with a dibble. Do not drop the Koubachi Wi-Fi Plant Sensor on hard surfaces, such as tables or concrete floors. Use the product only according to its intended use and within the range of the denoted technical parameters. Never use the device on or near current carrying components. Dispose of the product and its batteries according to the separated refuse collection regulations for electric and electronic devices (according to local regulations) or return the product to Koubachi AG. 任 意 計 測 ボタンを 軽 く 押 しデータを 送 信 してください 次 の 送 信 は 自 動 的 に24 時 間 後 となり ます ( 緑 色 のランプが 点 滅 ) Wi-Fi( 無 線 LAN) 設 定 ランプがオレンジ 色 になるま で 約 3 秒 間 ボタンを 押 し 続 けてください 設 定 モードに なります (オレンジ 色 のランプ) リセット ランプが 赤 色 になるまで 約 10 秒 間 ボタンを 押 し 続 けて ください センサーのWi-Fi ( 無 線 LAN) 設 定 が 削 除 され ます リセットした 後 は 再 度 Wi-Fi 設 定 を 行 ってくださ い Koubachiサーバにある データは 削 除 されません ( 赤 色 のランプ) 6
クリーニング:センサーの 上 部 は 水 で 湿 った 布 で 拭 いてください 洗 剤 や 油 分 含 有 物 質 は 決 して 使 用 しないでください 電 池 交 換 : 通 常 使 用 であれば 電 池 寿 命 は 約 1 年 間 で す 電 池 のフタを 完 全 に 閉 めるため ネジを 適 切 な 位 置 までまわしてください 電 池 には 高 品 質 の 使 い 捨 て 単 三 電 池 を 使 用 してください センサーを 土 に 挿 し 込 む 際 は 注 意 してください 決 して 強 い 力 は 加 えないでください 挿 入 できな い 場 合 は 別 の 器 具 で 土 に 穴 を 開 けた 後 にセンサ ーを 挿 入 してください センサーを 固 い 床 や 地 面 などに 落 とさないでく ださい 製 品 はあらかじめ 決 められた 使 用 目 的 及 び 技 術 的 制 限 範 囲 の 範 囲 内 でご 使 用 ください 電 気 電 子 機 器 の 上 もしくは 付 近 では 決 して 使 用 し ないでください それぞれの 市 区 町 村 で 決 められた 電 気 電 子 機 器 の 分 別 ゴミ 回 収 規 則 に 従 い 製 品 及 び 電 池 を 廃 棄 し てください もしくは Koubachiへご 返 送 くださ い その 際 の 送 料 はお 客 様 のご 負 担 となります www.koubachi.com/support 適 切 な 使 用 環 境 下 での 故 障 もしくは 不 良 品 につきまし ては ご 購 入 日 から24か 月 間 保 証 いたします 保 証 に 関 する 詳 細 は 下 記 をご 覧 ください www.koubachi.com/warranty 注 意 : 分 解 された 場 合 は 一 切 保 証 いたしま せん 7
