YUASA: A Study of the Similar Story of SORORI-MONOGATARI A Study of the Similar Story of SORORI-MONOGATARI Yoshiko YUASA Department of Japanese Language The SORORI-MONOGATARI is a source of the ghost story in the Edo Period Literature. This story owns jointly same topics in the various field literary work, for example KANA-SOSHI, Buddhist story, the Medieval Period Literature, the history of a temple, UKIYO-SOSHI, and an old tale. Especially, SYOKOKU-MONOGATARI is influence of SORORI-MONOGATARI. And TONOI-GUSA will be presume an influence of SORORI-MONOGATARI too. In addition, KONZYAKU-MONOGATARISYU, INGA-MONOGATARI, SHIIHAKU-OUZYOU-DEN, KITANO-TENJIN-ENGI,and BUSYO-KANZYOU-KI, SYOKE-SINPIROKU are influence of SORORI-MONOGATARI.
