Name and functionality of principal parts Remote control unit Remote control unit operation To use and operate this tuner by remote control unit, please point the remote control unit toward the remote control signal receptor on tuner. Program banner button Brings up the program banners. Menu button Brings up the menu screen Back button Removes the selection or setting screen which is currently shown. Signal selection button Brings up the signal setting screen Satellite selection button Switches the satellite between A(PerfecTV! Service) and B(SKY Service). Power button Turns ON and OFF video and audio output. Sub-menu button Brings up the sub menu on screen. Number buttons Enters channel numbers, and uses for numeric inputs on screen. Channel list button Brings up the channel list screen PageJKbutton Displays the previous/next page on the screen when yellow triangles, JK, are shown. FGIHbuttons Change your selection, highlighted item, on screen, in the selection or setting screens. Enter button Activates your selection. Xbutton Brings up the favorite channel selection screen or brings up the favorite channel setting screen with pressing more than seconds. Channelbutton Selects a channel by up and down through the channels. Recall button Selects previously tuned channel. EPG button Brings up the Electronic Program Guide(EPG) screen of currently tuned channel. Information button Brings up the Program or Channel Information screen for currently being selected. Tuner Other channel EPG button Brings up the Electronic Program Guide(EPG) screen of other channels. Promotion button Selects the promotion channel. Power indicator Indicates video and audio output is on when it is green, off when it is red. Message indicator Indicates whether you have unread mail from SkyPerfecTV!. To read a mail, select Mail from Menu, and choose a mail you want. Reservation indicator Indicates whether your reserved program has been running. Remote control signal receptor ch DIGITAL CS TUNER Channel number display panel Displays channel number for normal use. It also displays the level of antenna setting and the completion percentage of download. Slide cover To open, press its center and slide it to right. IC card slot Satellite A reception indicator Indicates whether tuner is receiving signals from PerfecTV! service. Satellite B reception indicator Indicates whether tuner is receiving signals from SKY service. Reset button To reset the tuner when it can not operate any longer because of receiving irregular signals, press gently using an object with narrow tip. (Do not use an object with a sharp tip. )
