A Report on the Elaboration Project of Kanji- Materials for Advanced-level Students Akira OTA, Satoko FUJITA and Akemi NAKAMURA ABSTRACT This article reports an elaboration project of kanji-materials for advanced-level (E and F) students of the Integrated Japanese Language Program at KUISC. We have identified first kanjis and words with idiomatically Japanese readings as the advanced-level ones, dividing them provisionally almost at the mean number of, i.e., between # and # kanji and distributing them into lessons at each level.
We have also intended to incorporate in each kanji various data like strokes, its radical and usage, etc., dividing them as "Independent Pages" "(Pages) for Problems", "for Readings", "for Quiz" and "for Preparation". This last one is the main page designed to organize the others. We describe from the chapter V of this paper outlines for each page and concretely how to use in classes. Finally we are going to intend to manage these pages with database software so as to open them on Web in the future. At the moment we have finished inputting data into the main pages "for Preparation".
