2010 02 2010 1418 1 03 01 I had a great time with my tutor! We'd usually go through my Japanese homework, such as grammar and kanji, but also talk about small tidbits in the Japanese language I'd had been unsure of. He'd always push me to finish the homework even though I sometimes felt a bit lacking in motivation with studies from time to time! Especially the kanji homework was often really complicated so it felt good to get help from a native Japanese speaker. Apart from Japanese studies, he'd also help me with stuff such as buying stuff online from Japanese sites. We met two times per week in our research room and there was a nice atmosphere where other people would sometimes join in and share their opinions and chat with us. I also joined two of his Japanese classes so I could get a taste of what it is like to be a Japanese university student! Thanks to his help I got at least a bit more out of them than I'd have otherwise. All in all, I have nothing but good things to say! 17 18
