7 MESSAGE Dear Rotary Friends and Guests attending the District 2640 Conference, I send my warmest greetings to each and every one of you attending this District Conference, I wish to express my great appreciation for the dedication and hard work of Governor Jiichiro Nakajima and Takako who, along with the District Conference Committee, have put together a comprehensive program of Rotary information, fun and fellowship l{e hope that you will take this opportunity to make new friends, renew friendship with previous acquaintances, and above all broaden your Rotary horizons with an increased understanding of true Rotary service. This is truly a wonderful opportunity to Celebrate Rotary together As there are over 500 district conferences taking place around the wor1d, you will please understand that it is not possible for Mary and me to visit all of the conferences taking place this your, as much as muce as we would love to. I have, therefore, invited an outstanding Rotarian to represent me at your District Conference. Kindly welcome Toshi Iwai and his spouse, Yoshiko, as our representatives. I know you will enjoy their company and their company and their inspiring messages during the conference.
