Abstract Today, Hakodate as tourist spot draws decreasing attention ans the population of Hakodate tends to decrease. To salvage the situation, we need to provide new tourism centent and make an appeal technical capabillities of Hakodate. This project has developed any type of squid robots named IKABO. IKABO are designed to boost the tourism industry of Hakodate. The activity purpose of the project is various events by using IKABO and aim to reverse tourist numbers by making oneself better known and give Hakodate vigor. Currently, IKABO has been sompleted, including the No. 1 to No. 9. IKABO are doing fabrication Future University-Hakodate, Hakodate National Collage of Technology and private company in Hakodate worked together. Odd number like No. 1, No. 3,and No. 5 are produced by Future University- Hakodate. In this project this year has been working to produce a No. 11 as the second term. IKABO be fabricated in accordance with the opening of the Shinkansen in Hakodate in 2015, this project have been referred to as a three-years plan activities. This year was divided into two groups plannning and administration, production. Planning and administration group is the group to work with the aim to participate in various events IKABO was made already, public relations activities, raise the profile of IKABO. Others, This project fabricates website creation and goods, we are doing a lot of publicity. This year, this project took part in various events such as the festival of flower and green in Hakodate. And this project took part in other six events and boost the Hakodate. This project have been engaged in the creation of new goods also as drinking water. Many went public relations activities using the Internet to raise the profile of Twitter BOT across the country such as the creation of production and new homepage.
