Winter must be around the corner. And I m totally sure Maine must be one of the coldest states in America. Halloween is October 31, and I wanted to talk about the cemeteries and the ghosts in Korea. I saw some parts of some Korean movies about the cemetery with the students in my class. They were really surprised at the scenes that show people drinking and playing card games in the cemetary. I explained why the Koreans celebrate in the cemetary and they asked me a lot of questions. And it was pretty good.
I'm excited to do it! USA/School/Ms. H.K. ( 07/10 08/07 ) October 15th 2007 was my first day of my internship at Long Trail School. Long Trail School is an independent middle/high school, located in Dorset, Vermont, U.S.A. During my first and second week, I observed other teachers' classes. I've observed Jackie's ESL classes, Deb and Jim's English classes, Sean's Sociology and U.N. classes, and Nate's Geography classes. Also, I made a bulletin board of Korea last week. I posted it in front of the main gate. I hope many students will like it, and show their interests in it. I am going to teach two 6th grade student classes this Wednesday. I am a little nervous about it, but I think everything is going to be alright. Also, I will teach a class titled "Introduction of Korean Culture" from 15th November as an activities class every Thurday. I'm excited to do it! I will move to another homestay this Friday. Thanks.
