He was different from the other people who had tried to cheat me during the trip. I wanted to go around more freely, so I left you. I m really sorry. I thought he would get angry, but he didn t. I remembered how I was locked in a shop and almost forced to buy some expensive stuff only a few hours before. I blamed myself for my bad decisions. I
had upset Sally after following another Japanese traveler s advice, and I had got involved in trouble after following an Indian taxi driver s suggestion. It didn t matter whether it was Japanese or Indian advice that I followed. I was influenced too much by what others said. Finally, I felt it is what you see with your eyes that counts, not what others say or what information you get from the Internet or books. I decided to trust what I thought and felt. I decided to continue the trip with Sally.
