Abstract The goal of this project is to improve of environment for learning mathematics at FUN. At first, we discussed the problems concerning mathematics learning based on our experiences. As a result, it has come to light that most of project members failed mathematics subjects after the second year and can t use textbooks properly. Mathematics subjects after the second year are based on the first year mathematics subjects. For that reason, we thought the cause of failing in mathematics subjects after the second year is not being able to understand the first year mathematics subjects. The content of analysis, especially, is often dealt with in mathematics subjects after the second year so this project decided to support analysis learning. We examined the learning conditions of FUN first year students first. Most of them use textbooks to learn analysis, but they can t solve the problems that look like end-of-chapter problems and it has come to light that they can t use the textbooks properly. The cause of that is they cannot analyze questions for basic knowledge for solution of these, if they can do it, they can review basic knowledge with the use of textbooks. If we settle these problems, we will reach the goal of this project. As the resolution method, this project devised and developed a website of study support that FUN students can study along with textbook of analysis with review basic knowledge. However, we consider that this is not enough for study support, so we organized group study. And, this project reached the goal of this project by holding website combine-use group study. We had a questionnaire to participants after the group study. From the survey results, many FUN students answered that the website combined-use group study was effective.
