We developed a new technique to observe CIB without any uncertainty of the zodiacal light subtraction by using a Galilean satellite eclipse as an occulter. In such observations, however, we discovered Galilean satellites are bright even when not directly lit by sunlight in Jovian shadow. We concluded that this phenomena are caused by forward scattering of sunlight by hazes in Jovian upper atmosphere. This discovery gives us a new tool to understand the Jovian cloud formation related to the Jovian stripes, as well as to investigate the atmosphere of exoplanets by transit observations. * 18 Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society of London, 12, 893 1677 355
