5-6-2 Time distribution using the network IMAMURA Kuniyasu, GOTOH Tadahiro, KANEKO Akihiro, IMAE Michito, and KURIHARA Noriyuki The network time protocol (NTP) is used by a network to synchronize time between computers. CRL generates a UTC (CRL) and standard time signal for Japan, and disseminates them to users by time-signal emissions. CRL has advanced a plan to distribute UTC (CRL) on the computer network. This paper described the composition and the content of service of the NTP time distribution system.
