1 2007 229 Today is the 12th anniversary of the Great Hanshin Earthquake! I was literally tossed out of my bed at Gai-Dai! "God, so teach us to number our days...!" [Psalm 90:12] Docs declared our oldest son Paul had leukemia; Stephen lung cancer; Dawn cancer of the jaw; my wife stomach cancer & me prostate cancer! Sad? God healed us all! This year I was asked to lecture in my 8th college! Early on, but I am not sure exactly when, I discovered my 50,000 students were good at the "What" of Life, but not the "Whys! They, for example knew the exact 359 379 553 554 10331 date Perry, not Terry, came to Japan! They knew of Pearl Harbor and Hiroshima! But they canfessed as powers. Professor Terry we could pass entrance exams because we memorized "whats" but you are my only teacher that constantly asked why, why, why? Why was I born? For now we see through a glass darkly. but then face to face; now I know in part; but then shall I know even as I am known. My students wre not just a number in passing. I recall one who flew back from the UK to chat with me two years in a row for 6 hours each. Jesus had healed her of brain cancer...!
