62 We have developed the making of the ball-point pen as a teaching material. In general, it is necessary to use the lathe for cutting the edge of the workpiece round. However, there are some junior high schools with the lathe in recent years. Then, we solved this problem by developing a special Jig ;cutting the edge of the workpiece round using a drilling machine,centering punch,hole drilling,thread cutting die,screwtap. In addition we tried the ebonite resin for the material. As a result, we were able to develop the teaching material of almost the same quality as the marketed commodity. teaching material, lathe, ball-point pen, jig
