Historic Streetcars in Hiroshima, Japan Hello, everyone. I m from Hiroshima, Japan. Some of our streetcars connect two famous World Heritage Sites, Itsukushima Shrine and the Genbaku Dome. Just three days after the atomic bomb was dropped, some of the streetcars started to run again and this encouraged the people. We are proud of our streetcars. Do you have any interesting streetcars or trams in your city? Wonderful Trams in Strasbourg, France Hi! In the downtown area of my city, we have wonderful trams. In the past, we had terrible traffic jams. Therefore, we introduced the trams and restricted car access to the area. These changes have reduced air pollution, and the city has become a more beautiful place. Trams are what we really need in the twenty-first century. Good Old Streetcars in San Francisco, America Hello there! Various kinds of old streetcars run in my city. Many of them are restored ones. I heard Japanese streetcars were once among them. Watching these old streetcars is like going back in time. They are really cool and harmonize with the scenery of San Francisco.
