ケーブルへの CE マーキング /FAQ ト ラフト抜粋 Q5.2 Are internal wires in EEE cables? Internal cables are not cables per se but are internal wiring with specific functions contained within or integral to the EEE. Some cables are marketed together with or connected to EEE. If a cable is connected to EEE, the cables follow the same requirements as the EEE like an internal cable. Simple or multi-use cables for the transfer of electrical current with connectors at both ends should be placed in category 2 of Annex I. Examples of simple or multi-use cables includes ready for use cables like power extension cords, cable rollers, and multiple socket-outlets outlets with cables. Cables that are placed on the marked individually and can only be used for a specific EEE then that cable follows the same requirements as that specific EEE like as if they were placed on the market together. Specialised cables like SCART-cables, HDMI-cables, fibre-cables and network-cables, which are used for example in voice, data and video transfer, are in categories 3 or 4. スペアパーツ Q9.6 Do spare parts need to be CE marked and have a DoC? The definitions in Article 3 distinguish between EEE (article 3(1)) and spare parts (article 3(27)). Article 4 requires EEE and spare parts to comply with the substance restrictions but the requirements for affixing CE marks under Article 15 only apply to finished EEE. Therefore spare parts that are not EEE (article 3(1)) do not have to be CE marked or have a DoC. Spare parts that are also EEE such as printer cartridges do require to be CE marked and have a DoC. サブアッセイ Q9.8 Do sub assemblies need to be CE marked? Sub assemblies made available that are only intended to be assembled into EEE by the manufacturer or used as spare parts are not EEE and therefore do not need to be separately CE marked or need a DoC. Some sub assemblies are separately made available as functional units such as computer network interface cards and graphics cards. スペアパーツへの除外 Q10.5 Does the exclusion granted by Article 4(4)(f) apply to all expired exemptions, irrespective of whether or not the text in Annex III or IV explicitly confirms this point? No. It has to be explicitly confirmed in the text of the exemption that it applies to cables and spare parts mentioned in article 4(4). For example in Annex III, 11a: this exemption may be used in spare parts for all EEE placed on the market before 24 September 2010, as long as this EEE is on the market.
