1 01 Flameproof Junction Box Junction Box Series Our junction boxes are designed and manufactured based on the Recommended Practices for Explosion-Protected Electrical Installations in General Industries NIIS-TR-NO.39 (2006) 2852 instruction for junction box as pull box and Junction box. Cable entries will be designed on quantity and size requested by customer. Concerning Junction Box, there is no explosion proof certification system in Japan, therefore Explosion proof Certificate or Explosion proof Label on products are not available. The adoption of Aluminum Alloy Casting corrosion resistance and reduced weight to 1/3 of the conventional cast iron or steel plate boxes, ensures your labor saving plans with easy installation and wiring. Widely used in the construction of Refinery, Chemical, Power and Heavy Chemical Industries. Junction Box can be available for Zone 1 and Zone 2 Hazardous Area as Terminal Box. Standard Threads for.conduit piping shall be PF (B-class) Threads but, when needing A-class Threads, please specify A- class threads (PF or G) when ordering. The threads will be applied PF (B-class) if ordering Conduit size such as G16, G22 and etc. Requirement for Hydrogen Explosion Protection (d3a) The products below mentioned can be applied for Hydrogen hazardous protection with special threads and additional price. Cable Glands for Hydrogen hazardous protection shall be used for type SXBM (A-class : custom made) and type SXC-B (A-class : custom made). 12
