(Bulletin of FFPRI), Vol.5, No. (No.398), 99-8, Mar. 2006 研究資料 (Research material) 釜淵森林理水試験地観測報告 2 号沢試験流域 (994 年 月 ~2000 年 2 月 ) ) * 2) Hydrological observation reports of the Kamabuchi experimental watershed - and experimental watersheds- (January 994 to December 2000) HOSODA Ikuhiro ) * and MURAKAMI Wataru 2) Abstract This report publishes the observation data of s and s from January 994 to December 2000 in the Kamabuchi and experimental watersheds (about 38 56 N, 40 5 E). Precipitations were observed using a tipping-bucket rain gauge in the northeast side of the Yamagata experimental station office building, where it part about km southeastward from the experimental watershed, until the observation system at the meteorological station near the office building was rebuilt in late April 998. In comparison with the data without calibration, it was observed that the station s from April to November, which primarily consist of rain, were approximately % greater than the s, while the station s from December to March, which primarily consist of snow, were approximately 7% smaller than the s. These differences were canceled by calibration using the cumulative data of a normal rain gauge at the side of the office building. Stream flows were observed using a float-type water-level pen recorder at each 45 V-notch gauging weir. The weirs have been used since 939. In late August 997, the water-level recorders replaced similar devices equipped with potentiometers. The voltage data from a potentiometer were then recorded at 0-min intervals, and the water-level data that were read from the pen-recording charts were complemented by the voltage data. Simpson's rule was used for the calculation in the same manner as that for the data in reports published after August 976. The maximum time intervals of the water levels were fixed at 0 minutes for the calculation in this report. The maximum differences between the published data in the previous reports before August 976 and the data of the same period calculated by this report's method were estimated approximately 20 mm par water-year.
