Cover Event Light Festival Held in Enoshima の島で開催される光の祭典 江え しま ひかり さいてん Jewels of Shonan is an annual series of illumination events held on Enoshima Island, Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture a well-known tourist spot. One of them is the Sea Candle Light Up which illuminates the island s symbolic observation platform, creating the impression that lights are falling from the sky. Illuminations Become an Integral Part of the Japanese Winter 冬の風物詩となったふゆふうぶつしイルミネーション Every year from around November to December, many commercial complexes and municipalities turn on their spectacular illuminations. These brilliant displays get people in the mood for Christmas. It s a yearly tradition for a pool of blue LED light to be created in the 2,000 square meter Grass Square. This year four meter high light sticks are installed there. This creates the feeling of being in a zero gravity environment.
