For example, there s a lot of government bureaucracy you have to deal with, like registering your address when you move. They should have more staff who can speak foreign languages in government offices and also print more documents in languages other than Japanese. そうですね 行 政 の 手 続 きはきわめて 複 雑 です 日 本 人 でさえそれに 対 処 するのが 難 しく 感 じることすらあります That's right. Government bureaucracy is extremely complicated. Even Japanese people find it difficult to deal with. 3
日 常 の 買 い 物 や 娯 楽 施 設 などでも 外 国 語 が 通 じたり 多 言 語 表 示 が 増 えたりすれば 外 国 人 留 学 生 や 転 勤 で 日 本 にきた 外 国 人 の 家 族 が 暮 らしやすいと 思 います I think it would be easier for people from overseas who come to Japan for work or study to deal with everyday things like shopping or going to entertainment facilities if more Japanese people could speak foreign languages and there were multilingual signs. そのうえ 外 国 人 が 母 語 で 健 康 面 や 法 律 関 連 の 問 題 日 常 のことについて 相 談 できる 場 所 があるといいと 思 います And also, it would be good if there were more places where people from overseas could get consultation about health problems, legal issues, or even more everyday things in their own language. 日 本 人 による 相 談 窓 口 のほかにも 外 国 人 同 士 で 助 け 合 えるコミュニティー 作 りの 支 援 も 有 意 義 だと 思 います In addition to having Japanese staff offering consultation, having non-japanese people giving advice could also be productive. どうしてそう 思 いますか? For example, it s a huge decision for people with families to decide to move here with their families to work. So, with your experiences, what kinds of services in Japan can we improve for people from foreign countries? もっと 多 くの 店 舗 で 利 用 できる 言 語 を 示 す 表 示 があればいいですよね 助 けを 必 要 とするときに お 店 を 選 ぶ 参 考 にしたり 困 ったときに 助 けを 求 めたりすることがで きます たとえば 薬 局 を 利 用 するときには 言 葉 の 通 じるところで 必 要 とするものが 手 に 入 れば 安 心 です It would be nice if more shops were marked with signs showing which languages were spoken there. People can choose these shops or go to these places if they need help. As you seem to know, a staff is a group of people, so you cannot say, for example, He is a staff or I am staff. These are incorrect.
