2016 年 ISAF 国 枠 予 選 の 途 中 経 過 10 月 10 日 現 在 の 日 本 の 国 枠 獲 得 状 況 と 今 後 の 予 選 日 程 について 経 過 をお 知 らせします レーザー 級 男 子 6 月 29 日 から 7 月 8 日 にかけてキングストン(カナダ)で 開 催 された 世 界 選 手 権 において 国 枠 を 獲 得 できませんでした 残 っているのはアジアカップでのアジア 枠 (2 枠 ) 予 選 大 会 で 2016 年 3 月 にアブダビ(アラブ 首 長 国 連 邦 )で 開 催 されます アジア 地 区 では すで にシンガポールと 韓 国 が 枠 をとっています この 大 会 で 枠 をとった 日 本 選 手 が 五 輪 代 表 と なります ナクラ17 男 女 混 合 7 月 3 日 から 11 日 にかけてオーフス(デンマーク)で 開 催 された 世 界 選 手 権 ならびに 9 月 14 日 から 20 日 にかけて 青 島 ( 中 国 )で 開 催 された ISAF セーリングワールドカップ 青 島 大 会 にて 国 枠 を 獲 得 できませんでした アジア 地 区 の 国 枠 はシンガポールが 獲 得 しました ナ クラ17 級 はこれで 日 本 が 参 加 可 能 な 国 枠 予 選 は 終 了 しましたので リオへの 参 加 枠 は 獲 得 できませんでした RSX 級 女 子 10 月 17 日 から 24 日 にかけてアルムサナウ(オマーン)で 開 催 される 世 界 選 手 権 で 枠 の 獲 得 を 目 指 します とれなかった 時 はレーザー 級 と 同 様 に3 月 のアジアカップでのアジア1 枠 を 目 指 すことになります 49er 級 男 子 FX 級 女 子 49er と FX の 男 女 は11 月 17 日 から22 日 にかけてブエノスアイレス(アルゼンチン) で 開 催 される 世 界 選 手 権 で 枠 の 獲 得 を 目 指 します とれなかった 時 は 他 のクラスと 同 様 に 3 月 アブダビでのアジア 枠 1を 目 指 すことになります レーザーラジアル 級 女 子 11 月 19 日 から28 日 にかけてアルムサナウ(オマーン)で 開 催 される 世 界 選 手 権 で 枠 の 獲 得 を 目 指 します とれなかった 時 は 他 クラスと 同 様 に3 月 アブダビでのアジア 枠 (2 枠 ) を 目 指 します フィン 級 男 子 ISAFセーリングワールドカップ 青 島 ラウンドで 先 にアジア 枠 予 選 が 終 わりましたが 11 月 20 日 から30 日 にかけてタカプナ(ニュージーランド)で 開 催 される 世 界 選 手 権 で

ATHLETE ELIGIBILITY All athletes must comply with the provisions of the Olympic Charter currently in force, including but not limited to, Rule 41 (Nationality of Competitors). Only those athletes who have complied with the Olympic Charter may participate in the Olympic Games. Additional IF Requirements: To be eligible to participate in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, all athletes must: - Have appeared on the official ISAF World Ranking List at any time between 01 August 2014 and 01 June 2016 or - Have competed in at least one of the Olympic Qualification Events. In order to qualify an NOC an athlete must satisfy the same nationality requirements as for the Olympic Games. D. QUALIFICATION PATHWAY QUALIFICATION PLACES The qualification events are listed in hierarchical order of qualification, irrespective of the actual calendar of the events. An athlete can only qualify their NOC in one event. HOST COUNTRY PLACES The Host Country is guaranteed one (1) quota place in each event: eight (8) men s quota places and seven (7) women s quota places. The deadline for the Host Country NOC to confirm the use of their quota places is 1 June 2016. Page 3/6

TRIPARTITE COMMISSION INVITATION PLACES Four (4) Tripartite Commission Invitation Places are made available to eligible NOCs at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. - Two (2) men s quota places in the One Person Dinghy event and two (2) women s quota places in the One Person Dinghy event. - To be eligible for a Tripartite Commission Invitation Places in Sailing, an athlete must meet the eligibility requirements as stated in Section C. On 15 October 2015, the International Olympic Committee will invite all eligible NOCs to submit their requests for Tripartite Commission Invitation Places. The deadline for NOCs to submit their requests is 15 January 2016. The Tripartite Commission will confirm, in writing, the allocation of invitation places to the relevant NOCs after the end of the qualification period for the concerned sport. Detailed information on Tripartite Invitation places is contained in the Games of the XXXI Olympiad, Rio 2016 - Olympic Games Tripartite Commission Invitation Places - Allocation Procedure and Regulations. E. CONFIRMATION PROCESS FOR QUOTA PLACES Following each qualification event, ISAF will publish the results on its website (http://www.sailing.org/regattasearch.php) and inform the respective NOCs of their allocated quota places. The NOCs will then have until 1 June 2016 to confirm if they wish to use these quota places, as detailed in paragraph H. Qualification Timeline. F. REALLOCATION OF UNUSED QUOTA PLACES REALLOCATION OF UNUSED QUALIFICATION PLACES Stage 1: If an allocated quota place is not confirmed by the NOC by the confirmation of quota place deadline or is declined by the NOC, the quota place will be reallocated within the same event to the next best ranked NOC, irrespective of the continent, not yet qualified, based on the results of the 2015 World Championships. Stage 2: If there are still unused quota places following this process the quota places will be reallocated within the same event to the next best ranked NOC, irrespective of the continent, not yet qualified, based on the results of the 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships. Stage 3: If there any unused quota places following this process the quota places will be allocated first to the Men s One Person Dinghy and secondly to the Women s One Person Dinghy event to the next best ranked NOC, irrespective of continent, not yet qualified, based on the results of the 2015 World Championships. Stage 3 will be repeated until all unused quota places have been reallocated. Page 4/6
