The authors, Pharmaceutical Information Network 21 (i.e. PINET) have exchanged information regarding free sources available on the Internet and report the result in this paper. Useful sites for pharmaceutical companies are collected, edited and an integrated link page so-called Virtual Library is built. Some especially unique sites among them are introduced in this paper. The automatic circulating robots are introduced as a means to collect and utilize free information sources on the Internet effectively and positively. Some copyright issues which have to be paid attention when ones utilize free information source are also described. It is confirmed that there are useful free information sources on the Internet and the use of them are expanding more and more. In addition, it is suggested that information specialists in firms should have not only information collecting ability but also information analyzing ability. Finally, the importance of human network like PINET is also emphasized.
