She frequently ate at the restaurant and had recommended it to many of her friends. b. Mary has been a strict vegetarian for ten years. She was so serious about her diet that she would never eat anything that is cooked with oil. A?er about ten minutes, Mary s friend arrived. Mary ordered a cheeseburger and fries. She handed the menu over to her friend. Her friend didn t have much trouble deciding what she wanted.
