85 ABSTRACT Education policy of ethnic groups in China Consideration of a multicultural perspective Yi Sun Many have been made about the incorporation of ethnic minority education policy in recent years. In other words, from the point of view it was the only representation of the majority so far, in various forms gradually, for example, in multicultural education, including ethnicity, education of people with diverse cultural backgrounds gains attention. Cultural preservation and education issues for many multi-ethnic countries from the old world are serious problems. A national that consists of only a single race was virtually obsolete myth. To avoid confusion of terms, 55 minorities in China is called ethnic group or ethnic minority groups (Ethnic Group) in this paper. Under the background that many ethnic groups and various kind of culture are coexisting in western countries, multicultural education is education for guaranteeing multi-cultural development and enriching the cultural education of the entire nation. It advocates education and realization of the rights of cultural and linguistic and cultural pluralism on the basis of democracy. About multiculturalism, affirmative action is one of important measures. It is said that the purpose was to ensure the rights of minorities and the socially vulnerable. It needs further discussion because it connects with multicultural education. Affirmative action measures on ethnic minority groups in China are considered as the preferential admissions policies. The policy development since 1949, with the historical fact and the changes of the times, reaffirmation is required from the perspective of social fairness and justice. Based on the principle of pluralism, fair education issues, issues of education disparities, positioning the nature of teaching, and the roles of central government and local governments have been analyzed. The prerequisite of not to destroy or assimilate traditional culture and customs ethnic groups, and deeper cultural exchanges each day is the multi-cultural awareness. Ethnic groups have little legal education policy, this paper considered that abandon amend build that would help law and policies of multicultural education maximum. Fulfilling the right to let more ethnic minorities in the interlard to receive Education, closing the gap in educational development, problem-solving of educational pluralism from the perspective of cultural pluralism, multi-cultural education and in China, and the possibility of realization of cultural pluralism are the research topics to challenge in future.
