Mark Twain, an American author and humorist famous for his novel The Adventure of Tom Sawyer, once said, "Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. He s right. Sometimes, people get so busy about things that they think will prepare them for the future. They spend all their time on work, earning money, and the like. Of course, these things are important and shouldn t be taken for granted. But if we let all our time pass without doing the things that matter to us most, we may have regrets in the end. One major way to avoid this dilemma is to plan activities that are enjoyable on a regular basis. The future is not only about what will happen in the long term; it s also what will happen in the next few seconds, hours, days Plan your next party, adventure or vacation, and have no regrets. B.
