Saito, saitomkt@ni.aist.go.jp Abstract: A new geological map has been prepared of an area in Hiroshima where numerous debris flows occurred on account of heavy rainfall on August. Rocks in the area are mainly the Late Cretaceous Hiroshima Granites and its roof pendant, which consists of the Late Cretaceous Takada Rhyolites, a Jurassic accretionary complex correlative of the Kuga Group, and schists correlative of the Triassic Jurassic Suo metamorphic rocks. All these rocks have been intruded by porphyritic rhyolite dikes. The most disastrous debris flows were due to the collapse of steep slopes composed of the porphyritic rhyolite dikes. Many other disastrous debris flows occurred because of small collapses of steep slopes along the ridge lines composed of schist that had experienced contact metamorphism, and also of porphyritic granite. The topographic base map is from the 1:25,000 Kabe, Nakafukawa, Imuro, and Gion in Digital Map Hiroshima (Map Image) published by the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (2010). 境に結晶片岩類がメランジュの構造的上位に位置するとした両者の境界部には単斜輝石岩の転石が存在することから地質図に表した本地域北東部では北北東走向の断層の北西側では花崗岩類が卓越するのに対し南東側は標高 m を境に下位に細中粒斑状花崗岩が分布しその上に結晶片岩類流紋岩結晶ガラス質凝灰岩の順に重なる後二者はともに接触変成作用を被っている 2各地質の岩相花崗岩類のうち粗粒花崗岩は一般的に等粒状で風化して真砂になるのに対し細中粒斑状花崗岩は基質が細粒で 1 cm を越える石英カリ長石の結晶を含み Fig. 4f 風化を被っても黄土色を呈する程度で真砂にはなりにくい Fig. 5e 細中粒斑状花崗岩のうち基質が極めて細粒なものは露頭で花崗岩かどうか認定するのは難しい Fig. 3a 混在岩は泥質基質に砂岩チャートのブロックを含む

The sample numbers are registration numbers of the Geological Museum, Geological Survey of Japan, AIST. く急斜面をつくることから阿武山南東の岩脈は地形に急斜を覆うとともに広島花崗岩類の貫入により接触変成作用を面の連続として認められる淡灰色の基質に石英斜長石の受けていることから Ma に噴出し広島花崗岩類 1 mm 程度の斑晶が特徴的に含まれる Fig. 3d 基質は極の活動の初期の活動で形成されたと考えているまた斑状また一めて微細で接触変成作用は被っていない Fig. 4d 部に花崗岩類を貫く安山岩岩脈が認められる流紋岩岩脈は広島花崗岩類に貫入していることが知られている高橋, 1991 流紋岩ガラス結晶質溶結凝灰岩は石英斜長石黒雲母のチャートのシート状ブロックと混在岩からなるメランジュ 1 mm 前後の結晶とガラス質の基質からなり本地域では接触変成作用を被っている Figs. 3e, 4e 3対比と呼ばれ後期白亜花崗岩類は広島花崗岩類高橋, 1991 例えば, 今岡ほ紀の K Ar 年代を示すことが知られている本地域の流紋岩凝灰岩は高田流紋岩類吉田, か, と呼ばれ初生的に溶結していることが知られている高木水野 1999 は吉舎安山岩類例えば, 松浦, 2001 で湯来層と命名され早坂 1987 は太は高橋ほか 1989 田川の本地域より上流側の加計地域でジュラ紀の放散虫化石を報告している山田ほか 1986 では山口県の玖珂層群ジュラ紀付加体に対比されている結晶片岩類はこの地域ではこれまで報告されていないがジュラ紀付加体と接していることから都農層群に対比した都農層群は三畳紀ジュラ紀の変成年代を持つ高圧形変成岩類の周防変成岩類に対比される例えば, 松浦ほか,

Site E in Fig. 2a. 岩ガラス結晶質溶結凝灰岩には本地域内ではほとんど存在し調査地域周辺まで含めても流紋岩ガラス結晶ない Fig. 1 質溶結凝灰岩中で発生した土石流はわずかである今回の土石流の発生域のうち最も被害の大きかった八木 3 丁目の県営住宅の上流の沢 Fig. 2a, 地点 A-B-C では沢の源頭部の斑状流紋岩岩脈の急斜面が崩壊しその直下 Fig. 2a, 地点 D も同様で特に過去の岩屑が厚く堆積していた所では山頂付近から始まった今回の土石流により過去の岩屑の上部が再度流出し標高の低い緩斜面から河床にかけて堆積した Fig. 5d 一方斑状流紋岩岩脈南西側の安佐南区緑井地区では山地が広島花崗岩類からなり尾根筋に細中粒斑状花崗岩が地点 A には斑状流紋岩岩脈の巨大のブロックが残存してそ分布し粗粒花崗岩より風化の程度が弱く高橋, 1991 中流域では谷底の岩屑が全て流されて花崗いる Fig. 5a の急斜面から小規模な崩壊によって土石流が発生したところ岩が露出し谷の側面上部に僅かに岩屑が残る程度で Fig. 5b 谷の出口付近でも花崗岩の上に堆積していた岩屑を流出させた Fig. 5c 阿武山東斜面では接触変成作用を受けた結晶片岩の尾根筋に近い部分の急崖に発生した小さな崩壊から土石流が始まり谷筋の岩屑が土石流によって流出した阿武山の北斜面が多い本地域北東部の安佐北区可部東地区でも同様である Fig. 5e まとめ本報告では現地調査と薄片観察による岩相の同定から土石流発生地周辺の地質について以下の結論を得た
