1 石巻専修大学研究紀要 第 30 号 年 3 月 牡鹿半島のモミ (Abies firma) を用いた放射性セシウムのモニタリングと動態の検討 福島美智子 1 松谷武成 2 根本智行 2 2 依田清胤 Radioactive Monitoring of Cs-137 and Survey of its Movement in Fir Tree (Abies firma) in Oshika Peninsula, Miyagi Prefecture Michiko FUKUSHIMA 1 Takeshige MATSUTANI 2 Tomoyuki NEMOTO 2 and Kiyotane YODA 2 1 Department of Food and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Ishinomaki Senshu University,Miyagi , Japan 2 Department of biological Sciences, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Ishinomaki Senshu University,Miyagi , Japan Abstract Radioactivity of Cs-137 in leaves and blanches in Japanese fir tree (Abies firma) has been monitored since 2012 to study the movement of Cs-137 in them.radioactive levels in them did not decreased much in last 5 years.cross sections of Japanese fir tree trunk supporsed to fell down in November 2013 March 2014 were measured autoradiography imaging.several areas having higher radioactivity compared to other areas were found.tree rings of cross sections of same Japanese fir tree were separated each other, and radioactivity was measured by Gelmanium spectrometer after freeze drying.after the measurement, K-40 levels were almost constant for 1 st 65 th tree rings.on the contrary, Cs-137 levels were rather high in 1 st 39 th tree rings. 1. 序 2011 年 3 月に発生した東日本大震災に起因する福島第一原発事故がもたらした広範囲にわたる放射能汚染に関し 2012 年より継続して牡鹿半島鮎川地区のモミ (Abies firma) の放射能を計測してきている 今回は 2017 年 3 月に採取したモミの枝及び葉の放射性セシウムの計測結果 及び 2013 年 11 月から 2014 年 3 月の間に倒れたと思われるモミの樹幹のイメージング及び放射性セシウムの計測結果を報告する 2. 実験 2.1 モミ試料と放射線計測宮城県石巻市鮎川において 2017 年 3 月に 2 本のモミの東西南北の 4 方向から枝を採取した 2013 年から試料採取を継続しているモミを<モミ A>とし 近隣の異なるモミを<モミ B>とした <モミ A>からは各 4 方向について 2 本 の枝を採取したので 合計 8 本になった <モミ B>からは各 4 方向について 1 本の枝 合計 4 本の枝を採取した モミは常緑樹なので 2009 年から 2016 年に展開した葉及び枝に分離した その後 凍結乾燥して U8 容器に封入し 放射線計測を行った ゲルマニウム検出器により 試料は 1 試料あたり 10,000 秒間のガンマ線計測を行った 標準線源の放射線計測により 試料中の Cs-137 を Bq/kg 単位で算出した 2.2 モミの樹幹断面のイメージング及び年輪の放射線計測モミの枝及び葉を採取する地点と近接したところで 2013 年 11 月から 2014 年 3 月の間に倒れたと思われるモミの樹幹の根元付近 全高さをほぼ二分する付近から 5cm 程度の厚さの断面を各 2 3 枚採取した ( 図 1) 高エネルギー加速器研究機構においてオートラジオグラフィ法によって各 1 石巻専修大学理工学部食環境学科 2 石巻専修大学理工学部生物科学科 9
2 牡鹿半島のモミ Abies firma を用いた放射性セシウムのモニタリングと動態の検討 図3 分離後の年輪 凍結乾燥前 ミ B の 4 本放射線濃度から平均値を求めて図 4 図1 と図 5 に示す 図中のエラーバーは平均を取った モミ倒木から切り出した断面 際の標準偏差を示す 図 4 及び図 5 ともに標準偏 1 枚を約 1 月間イメージングプレートに露出して 差が大きいことより これまでに得られた結果と イメージングを得た また 異なる一枚から年輪 同様に 同じモミであっても放射線濃度には大き をはがし取って 図 2 図 3 凍結乾燥後にゲル な差異が見られ 図 4 と図 5 が互いに非常に近い マニウム検出器一式でガンマ線を計測した 測定 地点のモミであるにもかかわらず濃度のパターン 後に 661 kev 及び 1460 kev の Cs-137 及び K-40 が異なることがわかる 唯一導かれる明確な結果 のガンマピーク面積からそれらの放射線濃度を算 は 福島第一事故から 5 年経過した 2016 年の春 出した であっても新たに展開した枝や葉には Cs-137 が 検出されるということである 2011 年 3 月に放 3 結果と考察 出された放射性プルームに由来する Cs-137 は 3.1 樹木に吸着したり地表に降下後 モミのどこかの モミ試料の放射線計測 以前の研究において 同一のモミであっても東 西南北の方向の枝の放射線濃度は互いに大きく異 部位に蓄積し 枝や葉が展開する時に徐々に移動 して出てくると考えられる なった そこで 今回は モミ A の 8 本 モ 3.2 モミの樹幹における放射性セシウムの分布 イメージングを取った樹幹断面図を図 6 に 得 られたイメージングの画像を図 7 に示す イメー ジングはフィルムが放射線に感光して得られるも のであって 放射性セシウムのみに感光されるわ けではない 得られたイメージングの図 7 は 図 6 と比較することによって樹幹断面の外側付近 中ほど 中心付近が比較的強く感光していること がわかる 次に 同様の位置から切り出した樹幹 断面年輪の放射線計測結果を図 8 に示す まだ全 ての年輪の分離及び計測が終了はしていないが 樹皮の下 65 枚まで分離と計測が終了している 図 8 より K-40 の放射線濃度は分離計測した 65 図2 図 1 の断面一部からの年論分離 枚まではほぼ一定であると言える それに対し 10 02_石巻専大_研究紀要_福島_sk.mcd Page 2 19/02/25 10:06 v6.10
3 図 4 < モミ A > の東西南北方向から採取した枝に計測された Cs-137 の経年変化 図 5 < モミ B > の東西南北方向から採取した枝に計測された Cs-137 の経年変化 て Cs-137 は 39 枚付近までほぼ一定のレベルで分布していることがわかる これらのことより 図 7において外側部分で比較的明るく感光したのは Cs-137 の寄与が大きいと考えられる 放射性プルームが地表に降下して その後 地 表や地下からモミに移動する というメカニズムも考えられるが そのメカニズムについては全く見当していないので 可能性について言及することはできない しかし 今回の得られた結果より 樹幹に少なからぬ量の Cs-137 が蓄積しているこ 11
