13 This session will provide a brief introduction of the CEFR-J and its on-going resource development. I will first describe the historical overview of the CEFR-J project and the resources we have developed so far, including the CEFR-J Wordlist, the ELP Database, the CEFR-J Grammar and Text Profiles, and the CEFR-J level assessment tools. Then I will discuss the impact of the CEFR-J in the area of (a) the Course of Study, (b) the 4-skills tests and (c) commercial language programs and teaching materials. The rest of the session will be open to the floor for further questions and discussion.
