Many knowledge management systems are currently proposed, however, they seem not to work effectively in knowledge succession for firefighting professionals. In order to achieve succession of knowledge and experiences in the department, a knowledge succession support system is proposed. The support system is designed to integrate various materials in the department, and may contribute to share the knowledge and experiences among firefighting professionals, in that the system may work easy to access and exchange their knowledge and experience in the department by the SNS (social networking service).
