About The Bar J.W.Hart During the start of the Meiji Era, Japan transformed from a closed society, to opening its doors to the outside world and its influence. Mr. John William Hart, the pioneer who developed the site where The Oriental Hotel now resides was a modern day visionary. His innovation was the key that helped shape the area surrounding Oriental Hotel as we know it today. Mr. Hart's name now stands proudly on our doors in honor of his great accomplishments. Isle of Raasay Distillery Isle of Rassay - Population: 120 Nearly the same size and shape of Manhattan, NY, The Isle of Rassay in the northwest of Scotland first legally started distilling in September 2017. In 2020 they will release the first Isle of Ramsay Single Malt Scotch whisky in history. Until then, this distillery has crafted a single malt, aptly called [Raasay While We Wait]. This blended whiskey boasts a smokey nose with red berry, lemon and grassy notes. Finished in French oak Tuscan wine casks, the finale is smooth with an oaky and buttery finish.
