Doshisha Journal of Health & Sports Science, 4, 41-50 2012 41 A Case Study of the Comprehensive community sports clubs that People with Disability Participate in. Motoaki Fujita In this study, the interview investigation concerning club management was executed to three clubs that people with disability participate in. The A and the B club provide the program from which the handicapped person's participation is expected. But the C club does not have the program for the people with disability. The results are as follows 1) The exchange between people with disability and abled body in sports programs is the important mission for the A and the B club. Be the club taking root in the region is the common concept for three clubs. 2) There three types of programs that both people with disability and abled body take part in, light sports or health care programs, sports program and adapted physical activity program. 3) The club mission and the policy of club management are very clear and strong in all three clubs. It is along those mission and policies that the people with disability participated in the club. 4) The person understood disability and people with disability was a member of the club when the club was established. It is suggested that the people with disability are encouraged to participate in the club by the member of the club who understands disability and people with disability. 5) It is also suggested that the clubs that the people with disability participate in have the high-quality instructors, people with disability pay the fee as the abled body do, the staff of the club promote to understand the disability and people with disability to abled body, they also promote active participation to people with disability, and the club use the external resources well.
