Particularly, the problem of much school refusal children increased. Alternative schooling became popular in Japan and korea in the s and s, However, the Minstries of Education in each country have responded differently. In korea there has been apparent government support for the introduction and Implementation of alternative schooling such as HAJA and Saranbang. As Korean educational reform, alternative education was born.
