The first generation immigrants are few in generation constitution. The current main stream has been the Zainichi Koreans in the second generation and the third generation. The fifth generation appears, and identity diversifies. Until the present, Zainichi Koreans experienced a history of discrimination in the Japanese society and a history of resistance or mutual confrontation. The Context of we are Zainichi has been strengthened as reaction to power in order to strengthen their unity as Korean ethnic group.
