Reconsideration of the Items of the Standards for Employing New University Graduates in Questionnaire Survey: Focusing on Screening Process for Recruiting Students in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Liberal Arts Osamu, Koyama The purpose of this paper is to examine how employers evaluate employability of new university graduates by interviewing corporate recruiting staff and to clarify some problems of the items of the standards for employing new university graduates in questionnaire survey. In conclusion, it is clarified that employers screen job applicants on the base of some episodes which job applicants tell to prove their own employability. However, this fact is not reflected in the items of the standards for employing new university graduates in questionnaire survey. As a result, implication for reconsidering research methods is presented.
