3 May cause injury If water leaks from the faucet attachment, the valve body or the spout may be damaged.please take carewhen removing the water purifier to avoid injury from the damaged part. Refer to Troubleshooting on page 22, 23 Preventing damage to the filter cartridge Change the cartridge if the flow rate decreases dramatically due to hollow fiber membrane blockage. Continued use of a blocked cartridge in areas with high water pressure can result in cartridge breakage. May damage the faucet or its parts If the faucet is not tight enough, excessive load may cause water to leak from the faucet attachment, faucet orthe plumbing system. If the end of the spout is covered with a plastic insulation cap, water may leak from the faucet attachment ordamage the cap due to excessive load. Please remember that damage to the spout and the spout cap and any leakage causedby the damage are not covered by the guarantee. Do not use the filtered water in fish bowls or aquariums This may result in the death of your fish in the event that dechlorination performance is lowered. Preventing accidents Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the unit yourself. Other precautions The unit cannot change hard water to soft water, nor soft water to hard water. In the event of extremely murky water, turn the water selection lever to Unfiltered Spray and run water until itbecomes clear before filtration. If attached to a faucet used for both hot and cold water, users may experience difficulties in water heaterignition. Preventing damage to other appliances Do not connect the unit to instantaneous water heaters. This could result in damage to the water heater.
