A new project called the Toranomon Station Front Office Building Project is currently underway in Toranomon 1-chome in the center of this district. With further developments expected in this high-profile area, such as the opening of a new station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, a redevelopment project has commenced next to Toranomon Station. A plaza will be created in front of the station, making it easy for large numbers of people to pass through the area. A new underground plaza will be created in conjunction with the improvements made through the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line Toranomon Station project. This public space in front of the station will connect the station to the city while creating a community hub with the perfect balance of city bustle and refreshment space. This results in more comfortable air conditioning in the offices while reducing power consumption. Standard floors To be used as office space, the standard floors will have a ceiling height of around 3.0m, with windows on all sides brightening these floors and creating a sense of openness. Features such as pillars against the walls and separate air conditioning units that can be divided into 33 will create a flexible, easily customizable office layout. 6 Securing an easy path from the station to the offices Extremely safe office complex that meets BCP needs LEED certification Quake-proof structure Spot network power with special voltage of 22kVA Emergency generators 1F Entrance hall This project has obtained Provisional LEED-CS GOLD Certification, a certification given by the U.S. Green Building Council to environmentally friendly buildings. The building has a quake-proof structure that withstands shaking and has a strong damping performance to prevent deformation. The structure absorbs the energy from earthquakes to reduce shaking in the building. This is a special power reception format that receives power from multiple lines to prevent power outages. If the power supply from one line stops, a stable supply can still be received from the other lines. The building uses dual fuel generators that can run on either gas or heavy oil, to mitigate risks. *The generators will run for 72 hours on heavy oil (due to the capacity of the tank), or for around 7 days when connected to gas. *LEED and related logos are licensed trademarks of the Green Building Council in the US. LEED is a program for outstanding design, construction and maintenance of highly functional green buildings. There is also an easy path through the elevators and escalators to the office floors, ensuring that passengers commute is stress-free right up until they reach their office. In addition to the emergency generators installed in the building, tenants can be given a space where they can set up an emergency generator of their own if they choose the option. Specified toilets can be used for a prescribed period time in the event of an infrastructure outage, as they will be powered by the emergency generators. The building will have a system that performs automatic diagnostics on the elevators using sensors installed in the machine room of each elevator. When shaking subsides below a fixed level, the elevators automatically resume operation. To make the building more environmentally friendly, natural energy is actively used in forms such as solar power and the reuse of rainwater in the toilets.
