The paper also examines the installation and operation of the Export Promotion Committee of the Combined Economic Board. Finally, this paper examines personnel-related issues specifically, the overlap between the bureaucrats involved with the Export Promotion Committee of the Combined Economic Board and those involved in the drafting process of trade and industrial policies of the early 1960s.
